I watched Damon as he peeked in at Sadie. He stood there for a couple of minutes before coming back out and we walked to my room.

"She's really beautiful, Katie and Josh did a good job." I went and sat on the bed.

"Yea, crazy how much has changed these past two years." He nodded his head and then pulled my desk chair over to sit in front of me.

"So I guess I have some explaining to do?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"You could say that." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Saint, I don't have any words for why I've been absent." I was hoping he was going to bring up this Ava chick but it didn't seem like he was going to.

"Is there anything else besides being absent that you needed to talk about?"

He shook his head. "I don't know what you mean." Ok, now I was kind of pissed off. I jumped up off the bed and walked over to the window. I turned around and looked at him.

"Oh come on Damon? I know about Ava, so why don't you start over, and this time maybe tell me the truth!"

He stood up and dared to ask, "how do you know about Ava?" I felt the tears burning but I would not cry right now.

"That's all you have to say? You were spending time with someone else instead of me this holiday. I mean if you are going to cheat on me then please just break up with me first!"

He walked towards me but I put my hand up so he couldn't get too close. I saw the hurt flash in his eyes but I was too hurt to care at the moment.

"I am not cheating on you. My father wants me to spend time with her and figure out what her father is planning. She thought it was more than it was and thought we were a couple but I am in love with somebody else. I couldn't leave without her getting suspicious so I had to stay near her. If I had a choice, I would have been off with you no questions asked. Saint, I'm so sorry that you've been sitting there thinking I've been cheating."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I wanted to believe him so much and when I opened my eyes and looked into his I knew he was telling the truth. But did that change the fact that he was so busy that I didn't know if this would work?

"Your father was the one who told me about Ava. He showed me pictures of the two of you and said that she was what you need not me." He stepped towards me and wrapped his arms around me, I didn't try to pull away.

"Saint, I am so sorry. I swear I am going to kill that man. He just couldn't leave well enough alone. Please forgive me, I should have contacted you, maybe even explain what was happening, but I didn't want her to find out and make all that time away from you a complete waste." I loved him so much but I didn't know if this was going to work or not.

"I will try to forgive you for the Ava thing it's going to be hard though. I'm glad that you aren't cheating on me. But it still hurts that you were with her all this time instead of me. I mean you even kissed her."

He kissed my forehead before looking me in the eyes. "I know that it doesn't make a difference, but I'm here now and I missed you so much it hurt." I knew that he was waiting on me to make the first move and I could feel my body tighten and I knew that I was going to forgive him.

I leaned up and kissed him and it started slow but started picking up. Damon lifted me and walked us toward the bed. He gently laid me down and laid over me while kissing me. He stopped kissing me to look into my eyes and I had to ask.

"Did you really kiss her Damon?"

He pulled back just a little. "No, she kissed me and I politely pushed her off and said it was moving too fast and that I was old fashioned. There is only one girl in the world that I want to kiss and I'm going to show her by kissing every inch of her skin." Damn this guy was a real smooth talker and he didn't disappoint.
