After a silent dinner with an awkward and uncomfortable feeling in the air, with Amir being included in the conversation and Iain looking like a slapped arse, quiet and depressed, Dennis comes through from the telegraph, reading the handwriting with a great smile on his face.

"Celebrities, due to it being Jack and Holly's birthday, you will have the chance to win their phone calls from loved ones at home. Around camp, 10 numbers are hidden. 8 of them are duds, whereas the other 2 are real. If you dial one of the correct numbers, then the call will be transferred. You have 15 minutes to find the numbers and make the 2 calls. Good luck!"

I don't think I've ever seen 11 celebrities turn over a camp so fast.

"Right, let's go!" Iain shouts like a new man, springing from his bed and sprinting down the path over to the shower. Honestly, I think he just wanted to remove himself, but either way, I'm glad he's happy to help.

Dispersing from the other campmates by running to the allotment, up the stairs and searching through the plant pots, I find a white number printed in bold across a light pink piece of plastic. 3729.

"Got one!" I shout to anyone who is near, running across the stones and up the hill to the phone box, where Shappi is coming out and rushing to find another number.

Pressing each silver key and holding the phone to my ear, a few rings sound before I receive the message. "This phone number is no longer in service."

"Nope!" I call, throwing the number into a nearby bush, and running back down the hill, knowing that our time is ticking.

Speeding through camp to the creek, and Jamie running the other way with two numbers in hand, I reach and look into the rippling water, where the display is ink blackness. Upon the inverse of the blackboard rested against a rock from this afternoon, is a 4 digit number written in blue chalk. That's when I realise that not all these numbers are the same, but could be hidden literally anywhere in camp.

Remembering the 4 digit code of 2038, I run back down the pathway, up the hill beside the dunny, passing Holly and Becky. '2038, 2038, 2038." I shout to myself in my head, watching Dennis come out of the box with another 2 duds. "We've found 5 duds so far."

"I've got one," I pant, shoving open the door and punching the numbers in. After the beep, more than two times it's ringing, meaning I've found one of the two correct numbers.

"I've got one!" I call over the camp, waiting for the speaker to pick up. "Hello?"

"Hi, it's Andrew, Holly's dad?" A deep but similar and relieved voice requests. The resemblance and similarity to Holly's dialect are uncanny, sounding almost identical.

"Holly, your dad is on the phone!" I shout at the top of my lungs, hoping she hears me from wherever she is.

"Holly!" My name is almost echoed from crowds of people all at once whilst I turn over the Bush Telegraph. "Holly!" Jennie rushes, bursting open the door behind me. "Holly your dad is on the phone!"

"Seriously?" I gasp, my hand over my mouth with a tear accidentally streaming already at the mention of his name by another campmate.

"Yes, silly!" She smiles, "now run!"

With those words, I push past Jennie, sprinting down the unlit pathways perimeter with trees and bushes, coming into the main camp. Looking up at the phone box, Jack is stood with his phone in his hand, talking patiently to my father.
