"I'll see you soon," I whisper as she gives me a final hug before running with her rucksack, smile and hat on up the path and to freedom.
"Come here," a voice whispers, hugging my body from behind. Turning in his grip, my tears are wiped away. Surprisingly, not by the boy I thought.
"Thanks, J." I croak, composing myself and wiping away the tears.
"Come on, let's go wave her goodbye."

Later that day...
When I was offered today's BushTucker trial this morning, I said no. I didn't want to shower or eat or wash-up because all of those things I did with Becky all of the time. Dennis came back from the Temple Of Gloom - the trial Iain couldn't do - with a brilliant 8 stars in 5 minutes. Great for us, but demeaning for Iain who was completely shown up.
There was no dingo dollar challenge either, so I spent most of this morning in telegraph, sleeping, or mucking about with Jack and Jamie.
"How do you even use this exercise ball?" Jack asked me when the sun was mid sky. "Like how do you lay on it?"
"Sit on it," Jamie laughed, jogging over and sitting beside me on the floor, back up against the logs. "Run up, jump, and sit on it, Jack."
"And I won't bounce off?"
"No," I tempt him too, knowing Jamie is obviously up to mischief. Watching Jack run at the purple ball, he jumps over and places his bum on the top, legs in mid-air, immediately being thrown off of it, launched onto the floor on his back. Like something you'd see in Tom and Jerry, it was the first time I laughed today.
"Very funny," he chuckled, rubbing his back.
One of the highlights though was that we received dinner early. Jennie and Jamie fried up the loveliest fish and chips I could ever imagine having. "This is incredible Jen, thank you!"
"No problem babe," she laughed at my expression.
It's dark now, and I guess that happiness has rubbed off. With 4 of us gone now, the camp feels so much quieter and smaller. "How have 4 of gone already?" I mumble to Vanessa who walks out of the dunny.
"I thought I was going today," she tells me. "I really thought I was going."
"Well, you're still here, so congrats," I speak, walking back down the pathway. I haven't been my bubbly self at all today.
Stepping up to my hammock beside the phone box, something grabs my hand on my way. Looking down, Jack's hand has clasped my wrist as he's led in his hammock. "Can I have a cuddle with my girlfriend?"
"You're such a kid," I smile shortly, letting him budge over, I climb into the hammock beside him. His arm wraps around my waist, my back to his chest.
I don't know how long we lay there, however when Jennie climbs up the bank to Jack's hammock to wake us up, where his arm has tred down to my hips, it's pitch black with the only light coming from the fire.
"Celebrities!" Dennis announces, "tonight, you will all face a trial to allow you to spend the night at the Jungle Arms, where you can drink as much as you desire. Can Jamie, Jack, Holly and Jennie please make their way to the dingo dollar clearing first."
