It's already been a week since the guys left for their tour. I was sound asleep in bed. It was usual for me to sleep in lately since I always spend hours up, thinking about and missing Luke. It's driving me crazy.

My phone woke me up. I picked it up, streching my arms out and rubbing my eyes. It was a text from Luke "Morning beautiful, don't be late for school"

I smirked. Even though between where he was and here there was a nine hour difference in time, he made sure to wake me up with a message or, sometimes, even a call.

Sure, we video chat and talk every day, but it's just not the same, I missed him.

I dragged myself out of bed and got ready to go to school. Luckily, I got to class just in time.

I quickly took a seat next to Jenna, with Julie right behind us.

"You just made it" Jen said sternly "One of these times you really will be late!"

"I slept in" I muttered, shrugging.

The teacher came in, with some boy I've never seen before. He was tall, with black hair that was casually messy, but it suited him somehow. His eyes were a light blue and the corners of his lips were titling into a smile.

"Class" the biology teacher spoke up "This is Dean. He's new here" she turned to the boy "Why don't you take a seat?"

He walked across the classroom, casually and with his hands in his pockets, before taking a seat in the last row. Naturally, everyone turned to look at him, I accidentaly noticed Julie frowning in his direction.

I payed no attention in class. I waited for the bell to ring so I could go talk to that new guy. There was something about him...I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Class dismissed" the teacher said finally.

I swiftly picked up my bag, throwing my books in and ignoring Jen and Julies questions.

"Hi" I walked up to the boy, reaching out my hand. He looked up at me confused "I'm Jessica"

He stared at me for a while, still confused, before smirking and shaking my hand "Dean"

"Do you need someone to show you around?" I asked politely, smiling.

Dean looked at me suspiciously at first "I get it" he smirked "Let me make your dreams come true. You. Me. Saturday-"

"What?" I spat out "No, you got it all wrong, I have a bo-"

"Dean!" some student yelled out "The principal is calling you!"

"Catch ya later babe "Dead winked at me, leaving me with my mouth open, trying to explain to him that I have a boyfriend.

I noticed Julie walking up behind me. She frowned, crossing her arms over her chest.

"What's wrong?" I asked confusedly.

"I know that kid" she said emotionless "We went to the same school once. I'm not surprised he's here, probably been kicked out of everywhere else!"

"What are you saying?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Stay away from him" she said stearnly.

"Why?" I asked indifferently, shrugging.

"Trust me, he's bad news" Julie said, looking at me worried.

I nodded, still a little confused. But there was something about that Dean that just...seemed familiar I guess. I had no intention on keeping my distance on him.

Jules, Jenna and I went to lunch together. I wasn't hungry, as usual. I was just pushing my food around in my plate, feeling a little sick.

"I'm a little worried about you Jessica" Jen raised her eyebrow at me when I decided not to eat anything again "You've been skipping breakfast for the past week, you need to stop"

"I'm just not hungry" I said morosely.

"I think this is about Luke" she said sympathetically. I nodded, looking down sadly.

"It's already been a week, three to go" she gently stroked my arm to comfort me "Then the guys will be back"

I forced a small smile at her, I could tell she missed Michael just as much as I missed Luke. I forced myself to eat something, for her sake, so she wouldn't worry too much.
