The phone started ringing again. It's been ringing for five minutes non stop and it really began to annoy me. I pushed Luke away and sat up on the couch, reaching for my cell.

"Do you have to answer it?" Luke groaned.

"It could be important" I shrugged as my eyes travelled to the screen. Julie.

"Hi Jules" I beamed.

"Jessica, I called like ten times! Why weren't you picking up?" I heard her annoyed voice.

I looked at Luke "Sorry, didn't hear the phone" I said awkwardly, bitting my lip.

"Anyway" she continued "Would you and Luke like to come over tonight about seven? I'm inviting everyone over for dinner, to celebrate me and Ashton moving in"

I raised my eyebrows at Luke. He nodded and I grinned "We'll be there Julie"

She squeeled "Okay, see you then"

I hung up and placed my phone onto the coffee table. I looked at Luke, he was smirking at me. He swiftly wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a kiss again.

It was about seven a clock when we got ready to go to Julie and Ashton's new house. The cab we took pulled up in their driveway. As I exited the car, I heard an unfamiliar barking. I leaned over the white fence surrounding the house and I found a pair of sparkling, black eyes  gazing at me with interest. A little puppy, with black and white fur was leaned onto the fence with it's front paws and barking in a high pitch, excitedly wagging it's furry little tail.

I heard the door, and Julie appeared next to the little dog. She picked it up, craddling it in her arms and grinning.

"This is Ebony" Julie explained excitedly, giving me and Luke a sign to come in "She's an alaskan malamute and about eight months old. Ashton bought her for me to apologise after out fight"

I opened the gate and entered the yard. Julie put the puppy down and I crouched down to look at it better. Ebony turned around a few times in one place to show her excitement, still wagging her tail. A wide grin made it's way onto my face as I watched the puppy with amusement.

"She's adorable" I stated, reaching my hand out and ruffling the soft fur on Ebony's head.

Julie nodded "Well, we should go inside"

Luke and I followed her into the house. I've been here once before today, before they moved in and it looked much better now. The furniture was in its place and everything was decorated in Julie's taste.

She showed us to the dining room. There was a large, rectangular table placed in the center of the room, set up and seating Ashton, Samantha, Calum and Michael. They waved at us, flashing us genuin grins.

"Take a seat" Julie offered, gesturing towards the empty chairs at the end of the table.

I grinned. Just as I sat down, we heard the doorbell and she rushed to open it, adding a muffled "That must be Jenna"

I looked over to Michael. He was staring in the direction Julie just went off in, but I couldn't read his expression. Come to think of it, I don't even know if they made up.

A couple of minutes later, Julie was back with Jen. She waved at us awkwardly.

"Take a seat" Jules smiled.

There were two empty seats, one right next to Michael and the other one across Ashton, at the end of the table. She walked right past Michael, paying no attention to him and taking a seat on the other free chair. I bit my lip uncomfortably and gave her a look. Jenna casually ignored everyones confusion and things became really awkward.
