"This has got to be the craziest thing I've ever done!" Joey hollered "And that's saying something!"

He started mumbling something about wrestling crocodiles in the Amazon, but I didn't catch much of it, since the battering wind was surpressing most of the sound around me. Although, I had to agree, this was in my definition of insane. Michael figured that, since ours was a priver plane, it definitely wouldn't leave without us. Then someone came up with the bright idea that we had to leave this plane and go back to the airport, which still wasn't too far away. And that's the story of how we ended up with parachutes up our backs and the open plane door suggesting a hard fall down to the ground. The stuart, who seemed unpleasently amused by all of this, agreed to strap our luggage to a parachute and release it our of the plane for us. I'm guessing this is high class entertainment when you spen 3/4 of your day doing nothing but asking people if they want peanuts.

"Well, we have no more time to waste." Ashton exclaimed through the ear-splitting noise "Who wants to go first?"

But, even with the wind hollering in all it's might, you could still hear the dead silence that came as an answer to his question. This didn't seem to discourage Ash, though, as he turned to face the door and shouted something along the lines of "Alright then, I guess I'll go first."

He stood like that for about 10 seconds before he leaped from the plane's doorstep and he was gone. An applause and some cheering broke from the passengers and I found myself thinking bitterly 'Yeah, it's fun when you don't have to do it.'

One by one they jumped, Joey, Michael, Calum, Luke, Jenna. Then it was my turn, or so the stuart suggested and I found comfort in imagining how she'd look if she was in my place. Sending a trembling glimpse back at the remaining two, Julie and Samantha, I neared the door. The wind only got harder to withstand. Holding on to the wide doorframe, I checked to see if my parachute was on tightly, feeling incredibly dizzy when I saw the ground so far below. I held my breath and released the doorframe. In a split second, I was plummeting down, the sharp air merciless against my skin and I found it hard to breathe. It was happening so fast, I quickly pulled my parachute and, to my relief, it opened, grasping me in a sudden halt that made my insides churn. Now, falling slowly and no longer in mortal danger, the adrenalin rush began flickring away and my head cleared a bit. At that moment, I could almost enjoy the sight: a flat, grass covered meadow below me and, in the distance, a dence forest. The sky was a brilliant blue, with the sun hanging high. My feet hit the groud with a small force, but I still stumbled and needed a few seconds to regain my balance, dazed. The guys and Jenna ran to the from where they'd landed and, soon enough, we were all in one place.

"Never again!" was the first thing Julie said when we finally got to our private plane, looking a little green, but at least we were safe.

We'd arrived in London an hour later than planned, due to our "slight" hold-up. Thankfully, the band had a free evening. No one protested when Sam suggested going straight to our hotel and then to bed. I was dead tired, lying in my bunk and feeling as if all of my energy had been drained. Still, I couldn't fall asleep. For what seemed like a hours, I whirled around, half awake, half asleep. Finally, I decided to get up and walk around a bit, warn myself down some more. In the twilight I could see Jenna lying motionless in her bed, sleeping soundly. I didn't want to wake her up, so I slowly tiptoed out into the hallway. Glancing at the room opposite of ours, where Julie and Sam were, I listened carefully to see if they might be up. Hearing no noise, I walked down the short hallway and turned left into the large living room. We'd rented one huge hotel room, where the girls occupied one wing and the guys the other. There was no light coming from their hallway either, so I decided they must've been asleep as well. Only the thin rays of moonlight, that had fought their way through the curtains, illuminated the misty living room. And only the square wall clock, that clattered away tirelessly, provided any noise. Or so I thought.

I had just headed towards the balcony for some fresh air, when a semi-loud click made me flinch. I jerked my head towards the source of the sound. Now the light was on in the guys' hallway. Frozen in place, I could hear a raspy voice "-yes, yes, I got it-" My eyes widened and I quickly leaped between the couch and a coffee table about the same length as the couch, placed in front of it. Joey continued to speak in a hushed tone, stepping out into the living room and right out onto the balcony "I don't get why you called me now. Everyone's asleep, someone could've woken up, seen Called ID and your cover would be blown!"

"Fine, our cover." he hissed after a few seconds of mumbling from the other side of the line, keeping his voice low "But I don't know how much longer I can play this-"

At that moment, my foot slipped and slammed against the table leg. Joey stopped in the middle of his sentance and I held my breath. I heard him say a few more words, now in a much more cautious whisper "I gotta go, I think someone's up."

Completely noiselessly, Joey slipped back inside and crept into his room. I waited a good couple of minutes before I dared to push myself up, stomach twisting and feeling dizzy. What did he mean? It was obvious he was up to something, but, by the looks of it, he was doing it for someone. I felt sick as I climbed back into bed. Should I tell the others? I hadn't had much time to think as I drifted off into a dreamless sleep...
