I looked up at the sky, it looked like it was gonna rain so I quickened my pace. It was the last day of summer break, tomorrow we had school again. I've spent the last three months along with some of the most dear people to me: Calum, Michael, Ashton, Julie, Jenna and Samantha, my best friends in the whole world, and Luke, my boyfriend, who I've been dating for about four months.

Luke invited me over to his house and that's where I was headed. I haven't seen him in a couple of days now, since he was playing some concerts. Luke and the guys were in a band and their career was just taking off. I've actually been to a few of their gigs just this summer. They're all really talented and I'm happy they got to live their dream.

I got to the front porch if his house and rang the doorbell two times quickly, feeling a drop of rain on my face. Luke opened it, smiling at me softly, and I came in hurriedly, so I wouldn't get wet.

In a matter of seconds, it started pouring, I was here just in time. Luke closed the door, and the sound of drops of rain meeting the concrete muffled.

He came up to me, kissing me quickly to greet me "I missed you" he crooned into my ear.

"I missed you to" I said, before kissing him back.

"What did you want to tell me?" I asked in the same, soft voice, fixing his collar, while he hugged me tightly over my waist. When he invited me over, he said there was something important he needed to say to me and I was getting very curious.

"Oh, right" he looked down for a second, thinking about it, before conecting his eyes to mine "The guys and I decided" he paused, trying to find the best way to tell me "You know how our careers keep getting busier?" he ran a hand through his hair and bit his lip.

I nodded, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.

"Well the guys and I agreed" he paused again "That we should leave school"

I widened my eyes.

"What? You're leaving? Why?" I exclaimed. Most of my questions had a pretty obvious answer, but I was in shock and didn't know what to say first.

"Well, this year we have quite a few concerts out of town, and even a tour coming up" he tried to explain calmly.

"But it's your senior year! You're almost done with highschool!" I continued persistantly, I was afraid that, if he left, we would never have time to see eachother.

"You've seen my grades, it's not that big a loss" Luke said to try and make me laugh.

I calmed down a little bit, pulling away from him and taking a seat on the couch "But what if we don't get to see eachother? We could grow apart" I looked at him hopelessly.

"Don't worry about it" he took a seat next to me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and I rested my head on his "We can see eachother every single day after you finish classes"

"I won't be able to, sometimes I'll just have too much to study" I croaked, staring off into space.

"We can make it work, I won't lose you!" he kissed my forehead.

I smiled slightly at him.

We cuddled up on the couch, watching some movies, enjoying what was left of summer vacation together.
