Yawning, I staggered into the kitchen, still half asleep. We arrived in London late at night yesterday and headed straigh to our hotel. It was barely eight in the morning, but for some reason I couldn't sleep. I've spent the last hour rolling around in my bed, trying to find a comfortable sleeping position, but nothing was helping. Pushing open the kitchen door, my mind was already on getting myself a cup of milk and cozying up on the couch with a good movie. To my surprise, I found Samantha seated at the table, tightly gripping a cup of coffee in her hands as she stared at the brown liquid thoughtfully.
"Sam?" she winced, shooting her light brown eyes at me "What are you doing here?" I questioned, opening the fridge and pulling out a bottle of milk.
"I don't feel very well." she said, her voice thin and hoarse. After pouring some milk into a glass, I took a seat across from her, cupping the glass in my hands to warm the cold liquid "Why, what's wrong?" I asked concernedly.
"I have a high temperature, my apetite is gone and my stomach hurts." she infromed me, placing her right hand over her stomach, under the left part of her rib cage.
"Did you just wake up like that or have you been ill for a while?" I took a small sip of milk, my eyes glued to one of my best friends, who looked like she was under a load of discomfort "Why don't you take some meds?" I offered, getting visibly worried for her state.
She shook her head "I've been feeling slightly ill for a few days now, like before you get sick, but it's increased since the plane ride. I barely slept last night. Don't worry, I already took some pills, I probably just cought the flu." she smiled weakly, trying to put my concern to ease.
"I don't know Sam, I have a bad feeling about this. Maybe you should visit a doctor. Just to be safe." I gulped down the rest of the milk, fighting with the feeling of the cold liquid down my throat. I rushed to place the empty glass in the sink, ready to head to a hospital as soon as Sam says the word.
Instead, she scrunched up her nose, obviously not liking the idea "Let's not, I mean I don't like going to a doctor just because of a little illness. It'll pass. Besides, I don't like the idea of being in hospitals, especially not in foreign countries."
I sighed, realising I wasn't going anywhere with this and a further argument would simply lead to a dead end "Suit yourself."
Just as I put my hand over the doorknob, ready to exit the kitchen, an idea popped into my head. I turned on my heal back to Samantha with a sly grin "You wanna watch a movie with me?"
She quickly nodded her head, the glum expression on her face quickly replaced with a genuine smile.

"This is so cool!" Julie exclaimed, her exitement radiating. I could see her expression reflecting in the car miror, roughly mixing with the picture of the city. London in the evening. I've never travelled outside of country boarders, so I've yet to see what other cities are like in person. The change was refreshing. The bright, colorful lights forming a contrast against the cloudly, dark night's sky. I've seen it all on pictures and videos, but it's a completely different story seeing it with your own eyes.
The car car came to a stop, freezing the images playing over the window on a huge, marvelous construction "Wembley arena." Jenna breathe, her jaw dropping to the floor "You guys are actually playing here?"
"The life of a rock star baby." Michael shrugged casually "What can I say? We're pretty awesome."
Jen nudged his arm with her elbow, to which he chuckled, before pouting and covering the spot on his forearm that she'd hit "What?"
"You're being a dork." she stated simply, shrugging.
"You're mean." Michael retorted, putting a hand on his heart and pretending to be hurt.
"You guys are incredible." Ashton chuckled, shaking his head at their behaviour "Can't you go five minutes without fighting?"
Jen and Michael only huffed in responce, crossing their arms and turning away from eachother. Luke laughed, pushing open the car door before exiting the vehicle and holding the door open for us. One by one, we stepped into the cool breeze of a chilly summer night.
A few bodyguards were there to escort us backstage, around the crowd of fans surrounding the arena and waiting for the concert. When they spotted the guys, they immediatelly started screaming and cheering. They, of course, stopped to take pictures with the fans and sign some autographs. Meanwhile, Julie, Jenna and I were a bit awkward with the situation. We were able to convince Sam to stay home until she gets better, so it was just the three of us. We spotted a few girls calling us and we made our way over to them, confused.
There were three girls, who seemed to be really nice. We talked to them for a little while, answering their questions and throwing a couple of jokes around. It's sad to say not all fans were as supportive, but were able to look passed that, as those were a minority.
After about half an hour spent with fans and later in the dressing room, the guys were called on stage. We were shown to our seats, where we could clearly watch the concert from backstage. I heard Ashton's voice followed by the cheers of the roaring crowd and the concert had begun.
