Grinning, I pushed open the studio door and led Luke in. Finally, he was finally gonna listen to me and settle his feuds once and for all. If there's anything I'm against, it's holding a grudge and refusing to talk. Besides, Mandy was my friend now and, because Luke didn't like to mention her, I had to keep it a secret, which was awful since Luke and I had no secrets. Almost no one stopped talking to notice we'd entered, but I thought it was better than to have everyone in silence, watching us. I pulled Mandy away from Samantha, who she'd been chatting with and away from the crowd. After about 10 minutes of me forcing words out both them, I didn't quite get the exact result I hoped for. I did, however, get an agreement that they would stand eachother if I let them go. That was good enough for me.

So, for about the next hour, we went to watching the guys rehearse with Joey. There was something slightly off about the way he kept finding excuses to stay up front. And how, even though he was the one singing, you couldn't notice Michael much. I cought the look Luke was aiming at Joey a couple of times and it was very clear he wasn't happy about all this. The strange thing was, when I looked at Mandy, she had the same stare fixed at Joey. And so did Jenna! Was I missing something? Apparently, everyone else loved him. I was the only person without a clear opinion. It was probably just all those exams and facts that kept fogging up my mind, but I felt as if I had left for a month, with no contact with reality, and then came back here only to lose myself in what was happening.

After rehersal, which had become very tedious very soon, Luke and I took a cab back to our apartment. Everyone else, however, went out to dinner to celebrate. Jenna wasn't too keen on it, but she agreed because of Michael. As for me, I could see Luke wasn't in the mood and, too be honest, I wasn't jumping about it either. So we went home. After a quick order for a large pizza, we sat down in the kitchen for a serious talk.

"Okay Luke, there's obviously something wrong and I want to know what it is." I started.

He sighed and told me all about how he had a bad feeling about Joey the second he'd entered Ashton's garage. He stood by his first statement that no one could ever replace Michael, but he said Joey seemed so much like him. And there wasn't anything natural about it. It's like he was acting to get something out of this opportunity. I wasn't doubting that to be true, but I couldn't help but feel there was more to it. I mean, there are two sides to every story. But before we could continue, the doorbell went off and our pizza was here. By now, we were both too hunry to protest, so the conversation was cut off by a delicious dinner.

The last remaining month of college flew by as I tried to keep up with the endless revising and occasional new lecture. I was happy to have a whole four weeks before another exam, because that meant I could accompany the others on their big summer tour. It wasn't just me, but the whole world, buzzing about it. You could see it all over the news that "5 seconds of summer set out for another big tour, but this time, they'll be featuring a new guitaris!" Michael was getting his cast off soon, which meant he could let people sign it and I could bet the fans would be up for that. But it wasn't just the whole world whispering about how '5sos are getting a new member' that got me excided. I was looking forward to visiting England again, since our first time there wasn't very pleasent.

I jerked out of daydreaming about sunbathing on the beach in England when Luke called that it was time to leave. Still buzzing, I bolted out of the bedroom, dragging my heavy suitcase behind me and almost tripping twice. Luke chuckled when he saw me, since I was wearing classic tourist clothes.

"Well excuse me if I'm dying for a vacation. Some of us still go to school." I remarked.

"I'm surprised they didn't teach you that it's winter on the other side of the globe in your school." he sneered.

In an instant, the image of me sunbathing shattered right in front of my eyes and I slapped my forehead, groaning "Oh God, I'm an idiot! Of course it's winter! Think Jessica!"

"No, it's okay, you're not an idiot. You're just overworked with college and everything, I can see it. Come on, let's go, you can relax a little on the plane." he cooed, holding a firm grip on my forearms, to stop me from slapping my forehead.

"Yeah, okay. But, give me 2 minutes to change first." I said, turning completely red as I thought about what the others would say if they saw me.

Due to me not thinking properly, we were 5 minutes late and, by the time we got there, everyone was doing a last minute check to see if everything was in place. We'd just joined the group when a woman announced that flights  5-10 would be leaving in 15 minutes and to slowly get on board. Everyone turned to Ashton, who had our tickets. He pulled them out, scanned the flight numbers and was just about to speak when Michael interrupted him "Guys, I cought my cast on someone's luggage, does it look too damaged?"

Ashton's mouth was hanging open, ready to set Michael straight, when Jenna bumped in "I'll fix it, does anyone have any ducktape?"

Again, Ashton stood there, just about to speak, when, this time Julie, distracted him "Ash, honey, I know it's a bad time, but I got this great idea for our wedding-"

"Ashton! Does the cast look better? Can you see I tore it?"

"Enough!" he finally burst "Our plane is leaving any minute, there's no time for this!"

He rounded us all up hurriedly and dragged us in a direction I couldn't make out, since everyone there was taller than me. During the way, though, they didn't stop bombarding Ash with questions and I didn't have to see him to know he was annoyed. We climbed up into a plane, but the first thing I noticed inside was that it was packed with people.

"Um, guys?" I blinked "Are we on the right plane? Don't you have a privet one?"

The stuart showed up and urdged us to some empty seats, all the while I could hear Ashton muttering "Of course we're on the right plane, it says so on the tickets." But no one got to examine our tickets, because the pilot was in such a hurry, we barely got to sit down before we took flight. It wasn't till after we heard the 'it's safe to unbuckle your seatbealts' announcement that the stuart came back. Ashton handed her the nine tickets and she scanned them closely, a small rinkle appearing on her forehead.

"You're on the wrong plane." she said matter-of-factly.

"What?" Ashton insisted "How? This is plane 9, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is." the stuart said, turning one of the tickets to us. The number clearly said 9, but, on closer look, the letters looked crooked. Then she flipped it upside down "But your flight is plane 6."

Ashton's mouth hung open while everyone else shouted things like "You dragged us onto the wrong plane?" and "What were you thinking? Holding it upside down!"
