After the meal Johann and I walked to the hangar to talk in private while the others all had their own conversations at the table. "I really am quite surprised that you revealed your identity to them." Johann said to me. "They earned my trust." I said to him simply. "Although it took them almost a full month." He laughed at that. "You don't necessarily make it easy." He responded. "With what I spend my time doing and who I am I can't let it be easy." He nodded no longer disputing it. "I can't help but notice that the people you finally opened up to are from Berk." He said hinting at a deeper meaning of my connection to their home. "It's not like that." I responded. "They needed help and I couldn't get them home without your help." However he called my bluff "Hiccup you and I both know that that is a bunch of garbage." He said. "You have an army of dragons at your disposal you could have easily flown them home." He exclaimed. "And don't tell me you weren't gonna force them to carry dragon killers because we both know that you have killed more dragons than they have." Johann was right I had killed the Red Death and my five companions had clearly never killed a dragon before. "Hiccup go back to Berk." He continued on. "Return to your home, reunite with your father, and make that village accept dragons." I thought it over. On one hand it had been nice to spend time with other people. On the other hand if I failed they would kill Toothless. Johann pressed even further "I know these Vikings have earned your friendship otherwise you wouldn't have showed them who you were and you wouldn't have let me babble on about your return to Berk for this long." Everything he said was right he always pestered me about returning to Berk and I usually never let him get very far. "I-I don't know." I said. "I need to go on a flight to clear my head." At this Johann put a hand on my shoulder. "Think about it Hiccup." He said sincerely. "We leave tomorrow and nothing would bring me greater joy than to have you on my ship my friend." I looked at him as he finished. "Thanks Johann." I said. He clapped me in the back and started to walk away as I mounted Toothless. "What am I gonna do bud?" I said to the dragon as he spread his wings and took off into the night sky.
