•Valeria's POV•
I got up and head to my shower, I turn on the warm water and relax as I take my sweet time. Once I get out I brush my hair, I put on black ripped skinny jeans, my Rolling Stones gray shirt, and black and white high top vans. I get my backpack and go outside and knock on Jose's door. I hear his car beep and I just open the door and go in the back seat.
"Hello betch", Chris says and gets in the front seat.
"I'm here", Jose says and gets in the drivers seat.
"I made you guys coffees", he says and hands us each a paper cup with coffee.
"Awe thanks", Chris says.
"Thanks", I say.
"Why you so down", Jose asks me.
"So Leslie send me this picture and I've been over thinking it but I can't get it out of my head", I say and show them the picture.
"I bet it's nothing, she probably Aspen they are friends, friends hug like how many times have you hugged Jose", Chris says.
"I know but look at her she's gorgeous", I say.
"Don't think like that you are gorgeous, friends hug don't we", he says.
We drive to school but I stay silent the whole time. Today is probably just not my happy day. We get to school and I get my stuff and go to my class since we were already late. I sit next to Jose this time and when jack came into class he just looked confused but sat then I hear chairs shuffling while my head is down.
"What's wrong Val", I look up and see Jose change seats with jack.
"Nothing just tired, didn't sleep well last night", say.
"Sorry I didn't call", he says.
"It's ok", I say and put my head back down.
"Come over here it's pretty cold you are just wearing a t-shirt", he says and puts his arm around me as I put my head up.
The class passes by and I almost sleep on Jack a couple times, I was towed I couldn't sleep I was over thinking things. Lunch arrived slowly but it arrived. I sit at the same table and then jack sits next to me.
"You aren't gonna eat?", Jack asks and wraps his arm around me.
"Not hungry", I say.
"Babe that's why you have energy, at least drink something", he says with a worried tone.
"I'm just really tired", I say.
"Here", he hands me a Caparison, "if you don't finish that I'm not letting you go."
"I need to go to the bathroom, I finished it don't worry", I get up and start walking out of the cafeteria.
"Valeria!", I hear someone calling my name, I turn and see it jack.
"Ye?", I ask and he catches up to me.
"What's wrong?", he asks.
"Just tired", I say.
"You sure", he asks.
"Yea I had to finish my essay stayed up late", I lied again.
"I would help but-", he says.
"Gotta stay home I know", I roll my eyes.
"Valeria are mad", he says.
"No"I get defensive.
"Than why are you being like this?" He asks.
"Because how do you think I feel about you when people send me pictures of you some other girl, I look like the stupid girlfriend", I say.
"What are you talking about?", he asks.
"You know what forget it why don't we just forget this happened, all of it, I don't want anyone sending anymore pictures let another girl receive those", I say and run off.
I run and take the long way to my house so if someone comes looking for me they won't find me. I get home and go up to my room and the waterworks come. Am I stupid? Why am I like this?
"Hey Valeria", i hear a knock.
"What!", I yell.
"Shouldn't you be at school", Luis opens the door slightly.
"I ditched you wanted to be a normal teen here ya go, you can go now", I say.
"What happened", he asks and sits next to me.
"Nothing", I say.
"Did jack do something", he asks.
"Yes, no, I don't know", I say and he hugs me as I cry.
"What happened", he asks again.
"I don't know", I hear the door bell ring.
Luis gets up, I look through my balcony and se it's jack.
"Don't open it", I say to Luis.
"If you won't tell me what happened he will", he says and goes down stairs.
I close my door and lock it. I didn't sound like Luis was yelling so In guessing he is on his side. Then I hear a knock on my door.
"Valeria you have to talk to him", Luis says.
"No quiero", I say I don't want to in Spanish.
"Me vale si quieres o no, no te vas a hacer la pendeja por tus pensamientos estúpidos", Luis says.
(Translation: "I don't care if you want to or not you aren't gonna be a dumb ass for you stupid thoughts")
I just stay silent and I am guessing he stop trying, I go to my bed and feel a pain that I can physically feel but mentally it hurts like a bitch. I never felt that not even when I found out I wasn't my dads real daughter. I play my music loud to cancel out any noise.
"Valeria!", I hear pounding.
"Stop being childish and come down here Jack has been waiting for almost a whole hour, he missed a class for you", Luis says.
"Sorry can't hear you", I tell and play my music louder.
Wet dreams my J cold plays and I sing along to it and ignore everything Luis is saying.
"Valeria it's us bitch open the door", I hear my friends voices and ignore those to.
"Oh ok bitch", I hear Jose say.
"Get me a butter knife", Jose says and a couple minutes pass and I act like I'm sleeping when I hear my door open.
"Turn off the music", Chris says.
"Ok Jack you should really let her chill for a bit because she is being a dramatic little shit at the moment, talk to her tomorrow", Jose says and I hear a couple people leave and the door close.
"That's act won't work get the fuck up and talk now!"
