I walk to Christal's car and see she's already in.

"Get in before I leave you bitch", she says and I roll my eyes.

"Why do I always sit in the back?", I ask.

"Because we are older and also you are short ass hell", Jose says.

"No I'm not I am average!", I exclaim.

"How tall are you?", Chris asks.

"Four eleven and a half", I say.

"Ok honey that is below average", Jose says and I cross my arms.

Chris parks in her driveway me and Jose say thanks and we all go to our own houses, I get in and see my mom.

"Aren't you suppose to be working?", I ask.

"Got out early", she says.

"Ok Im gonna to my room", I say.

"Do your homework", she yells and I roll my eyes but she can't see me.

I lock my door because I always do and I go on my bed and listen to music, my phone ring it's from a random number.

"Hello?", I ask.

"Oh Valeria it Jack", I hear him say.

"How did you get my number", I ask.

"I know people", he says and I could hear him laugh.

"My people are not your people so who gave it to you Chris or Jose", I say and he laughs.

"I made Daniel ask Christal", he says.

"Oh ok", I say still confused on why he called me.

"Do you get the math homework?", he asks.

"Yea why?", I ask.

"Can you help me pretty please?", he asks.

"I don't know", I say.

"Come on I don't want to fail senior year and not walk the stage", he says.

"Ok but by help I mean help you are not just gonna copy me", I say.

"Thank you, you are a life savor send me your address I'll be there in a bit", he says and I hang up.

I send him my address and go downstairs.

"Mom I'm having a friend over to do our homework", I lied he's not my friend we barely know.

"Christal or Jose?", she asks.

"None a different friend", I say.

"And who may this be?", she asks.

"Someone", i say annoyed, "boy or girl?" She asks.

"Boy", I say, "is he gay like Jose?", she asks.

"No", I say, "First and last name?", she demands.
