"Hey Chaewon, wait!"

I turned around and saw Jun running towards me. I gave him a brief smile and bowed my head. "Hi, Jun. Is there anything I can help you with?"

He chuckled. "Nah.. just want to ask if I can walk you home."

"Ah," scratching the back of my head, I sheepishly smiled and averted my eyes away from him. "That's really unnecessary-"

"I insist," he cut in. "Plus, I can't let a pretty lady go home alone late at this time."

"B-But It's still ten minutes past five in the evening," nervously I laughed. "But if it's not troubling you-"

"It's not!"

I shyly laughed and nodded. "Alright. Sure."

Soon, we rode the bus together and walked down the streets to my house. As he carried my bag, we talked about each other along the way. Well, I did most of the talking. He was charismatic, I'll give you that. A fine gentleman and was really friendly.

Once we reached my front door, I nervously let out a small laugh. "Thanks again for walking me home, Jun." I tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear and slightly bowed my head.

"It was nothing, really." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Um.. if it's okay with you.. can I have your number?" He took out his phone and we both laughed. "I know we just met but- I feel like I want to get to know you better. You know? As friends?"

I tightened my lips and refrained myself from laughing. I felt somewhat giddy inside of me. Perhaps this was the first time a guy ever flirt with me?

Puh-lease, Chae. He specifically said FRIENDS.

I nodded my head. As soon as I typed my number in his phone, Jimin's voice caught me off guard.

"Wonnie!"

Jun and I turned around and saw Jimin and his beautiful friends. My eyes instantly landed on Taehyung. His jaw was clenched and he quickly looked away. Jimin approached us while his friends stayed at the gate.

"Hey Mochi," I greeted.

"Hey, sorry I couldn't walk you home earlier!"

"That's alright," I waved it off. I stared at Jun and back at Jimin. "Oh, Jimin, meet Se Jun. He's new in campus and also the person who walked me home. Se Jun, meet my dearest friend and neighbor, Jimin."

Jimin stared at Jun blankly and gave him a brief smile. "Thanks for walking her home," he said and glance back at me. "Anyway, I have to go now. Can't make the boys wait. See you, Wonnie!" I waved and I watched him walked away.

"You guys seem pretty close," I heard Jun chuckled.

"Yeah. Oh and-" I handed him his phone back and smiled. "Here. I'll uh.. see you around?"

"See you," he chimed before I went inside the house.
