I fixed my round spectacles and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear. I left the restroom and went to find Taehyung for lunch.
"Chaewon, hey!" I turned around and saw Se Jun approaching. "Have you had lunch?"
"I'm about to," I laughed.
"Can I join you?" He rubbed his nape and smiled sheepishly. "I'm new here and I'm sort of, friendless?"
I honestly didn't want him to join since, I'm sure Taehyung wouldn't be too happy about it. But I didn't have the heart to abandon him alone.
"Sure."
Soon, we went to the cafeteria to where Taehyung and his friends were. Once he saw Se Jun standing next to me, his smirk fell to a frown.
"Hey everyone. Is it okay if Se Jun joins—"
"No," Taehyung cuts me off. "Can I talk to you, jagi-ya?" He emphasized, causing everyone's eyes to widen, especially Jimin's. Taehyung grabbed my wrist and dragged me away from them.
"Y-Yah.. you're hurting my wrist," I whined.
He released me and furiously ran his fingers through his thick hair. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Wha—"
"We're a fake couple so, act like we are! And first thing you should do is not be friendly towards Se Jun. Better what, don't even think of getting close with him."
"What was I supposed to do, huh?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "He's new here—"
"I don't care!"
'Well I do!"
"Wait— don't tell me you have feelings for him?"
"What? No!" I groaned and rolled my eyes. "Taehyung, I was his first friend here in campus. Wouldn't that make me a bad friend if I just abandon him? Try putting yourself in his shoes. Imagine if the boys suddenly ignore you and doesn't want to be friends. How would that make you?" I gave him one last disappointed look and walked past him.
My wrist was suddenly grasped. "Terrible." I turned around and his eyes were glued onto the ground. "It would feel terrible," he repeated.
"My point's exactly," I said just above a whisper. "Let him have lunch with us. In a week time, I'm sure he'll have other friends."
He sighed. "Fine." He crossed his arms."Justfor today."
He was being childish and I find it rather cute. I nodded. He suddenly grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers as he dragged me back to our table.
