Trespassing On Trouble

Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Lexis POV:

Walking into school the next day was sort of peaceful, though people were still talking about everything that had happened at the dance no one really came up to me and asked me about. It was also calming as I had Chelsea by my side just like old times.

Though we are together again and friends its a different type of friendship, a more true one because though we are close we know where we stand with each other. There's still the tension of previous problems that we both won't forget but we can move past them and that is why we are here together still strong.

I walk past people to get to my locker to find a certain someone standing there with their back against the cool flat surface of my locker. He doesn't realise I'm standing in front of him until I tap his shoulder. He looks up at me with an intense gaze as if he is trying to decipher a code.

Chelsea who was by my side clears her throat and we both look away from the heated glance as if remembering where we are. She gives me a curious look referring to Chase which I respond with a look that says ill explain later.

"so how are you?" Chase asks me

"I'm good, why?" I ask completely forgetting about how I've been ignoring his calls and messages for the past few days.

"are you sure?" he asks which I reply with a simple smile.

"okay how about we go to class," Chelsea says filling the awkwardly silent air with her statement.

We all walk together towards our class drawing in the eyes of everyone around us. We are all known for something in this school making us stand out whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. Chase is the new hot guy who keeps to himself despite the efforts of many people, Chelsea is the once popular girl who became the mean girl who is now the pregnant teen and me, well I'm the good girl gone bad...

...The good girl trespassing on trouble...

But to be completely honest with you I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
