Chapter 28: Chase's POV:
I can faintly hear someone knowing on the door but know that my mum has already opened it so I go back to sleep. It feels like I've been asleep for two minutes when I hear my mum shouting my name from downstairs. I roll back over and fall into an even deeper sleep before I hear my mum shouting again, announcing that its dinner time.
I quickly jump out of bed knowing that my mum will get extremely angry if I'm not down in the dining room. I feel groggy like I'm still asleep. My eyes are feeling too heavy so I practically leave them closed as I stumble downstairs and into the dining room. I take a seat in one of the free chairs and start serving my food. For some reason, the room is dead silent, not even my little siblings are making a noise. I don't bother to question it as I eat my food.
I feel eyes staring at me so I look at my mum and notice her eyes practically glued to me in an unknown emotion, one that is getting close to looking frightening. I give her a questioning glance and notice her eyes looking intently at something in front of me so I turn my gaze from my mum to whats in front of me and almost die of complete shock.
"Holy F***!!!" I scream "How long have you been here?"

I know it's short but I wanted to not only update but I also wanted to do someone else's perspective for a change and I wanted the rest of this scene to be from Lexi's POV.
