Trespassing On Trouble

Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Lexi's POV:

Just then Chase came back with a brown bag of food in one hand and a small happy meal that he placed in front of Lucy. I saw the smile on her face grow as she saw the food being put in front of her. He sat down in the hair opposite me and started taking out all the food from the bag and sharing it between him and Beverly.

"so what's with the bags" he asks looking over at the trolley with a face that screamed 'OH MY GOD' before I could say anything Beverly decide to speak which I was grateful for because I couldn't bother explain it again.

'she's changing up her style, honestly darling I think I like this look" she says pointing to the bags while looking at me "better than your one, I think it will totally suit you better"

"thanks" I said blushing slightly at the small compliment she gave me

"that must be heaps though, how did you even buy all this?" he asks pointing towards the bags

"oh over the summer all my friends where overseas somewhere and I got bored so I started doing these random jobs and ended up getting stacks of money that I have no clue what to do with" I say slightly embarrassed though I don't really know why.

"seriously, that's so cool" he says thinking it over in he's head "I am so doing that this summer"

He's mum looks at him with a surprised face than says "how you can't even wake up in the mornings when it's summer, I'm pretty sure you can't be asleep and work, it doesn't work like that" she says triumphantly, I let out a little giggle and look toward him. He has a bright red blush covering he's cheeks that makes he's dark hair, blue eyes and perfectly shaped face and sharp jaw line even hotter than it already is. I look away realising I was staring for too long and decide to look down at my phone realising the time.

I jump up from my chair and turn toward Chase and Beverly. "I am so sorry but I need to get home otherwise my mum will kill me" I say as I walk away with the overflowing trolley "goodbye" I turn and give them a small smile over my shoulder, they smile back and say their goodbyes.
