Now completely dry-except for my hair- Rylee and I walked to the cafeteria to get a water from the drink machines.

"And they just laughed at you?" Rylee said barely able to contain her laughter herself.

"Yeah they did. But i decided instead of cussing them out, I would be mature about it and walked away. Where are they? I texted them and told them to meet us here for our free period," I said as I gt my water and turned around. Rylee grabbed her water and faced me.

"They'll be here any minute. I'm sure Beck just cant wait to see his girlfriend," Rylee teased.

I stuck my tounge out at her childishly then we both laughed.

"Come on. We'll wait for them by my locker since it's the one closest to here," She said and we started to walk out.

"Hey, Lia! Wait up!" Shane yelled from across the room.

I stopped and turned around to se him jogging towards us.

"Hey, Shane. Whats up?" I asked as we walked to Rylee's locker.

"Nothin much. Did you hear about Mrs. Aarons?" He asked me.

"Yeah, we heard. I'm so glad it's school is almost over with for the day," I replied leaning against the lockers.

My phone beeped, so i took it out. Chase was calling me.

"Hang on a sec," I told them and stepped away for a minute.

They nodded then started talking again.

"Hello," I answered.

"Hey, where are you guys?" Chase asked me.

"Well we where waiting for you, but then we left and came to Rylee's locker," I replied.

"Okay. We're on our way," He said then hung up.

I rolled my eyes and put my phone back in my pocket. I walked back over to Rylee and Shane.

"They guys are coming. That was Chase calling to tell me," I said looking at Rylee.

"Who?" Shane asked.

Shane didnt really like Chase and Beck that much so I didnt want to tell him, but I didnt have to because they came right aruond the corner just as Shane asked me.

"Hey. Sorry we took so long. Coach Mac wanted all the football players in for a meeting since its almost time for our first game," Beck said totally ignoring Shane.

"When's the first game? Ms. Nadia didnt give us a schedule yet," I asked him.

"It's on Thursday. So you and your fellow cheerleaders better get your a-game on, too. We play Southside," Chase said.

"Dang. We tried to beat them last year in the finals and we lost. Now we have to play against them first? This game is going to suck," I said dropping my head.

"No it wont. The team has been practicing really hard for this. And with you guys cheering us on, I think we'll win," Beck said putting his arm around my waist comfortably.

I looked up at him and smiled.

"You guys play football?" Shane asked.

Everyone had forgotten he was there.

"What's he doing here?" Beck asked me.

"He followed me and Rylee out here. We where just talking," I told him.

"Yes we play football," Chase answered his question.

Shane looked at me, "Will you be there?"

I smirked, "Yeah I have to be. Captian of the cheerleading squad."

"With your legs, that is something I can believe. But these two on the football team?" Shane said laughing.

I could fell Beck beck tense up beside me at what Shane said.

"Dont talk about her like that man," Chase said staring him down.

Beck pushed me behind him and glared at Shane, "You better watch it pup, cuz those legs belong to me."

Shane laughed hard, "Dude, those legs are too good for you."

"I'm the only one that has visitation rights to those legs, so you better back up," Beck said advancing on Shane.

I stepped up from behind Beck and stood in front of him, "And if you dont play nice your gona lose those rights."

Shane smirked and said, "Does that mean I get them?"

"Would you shut up! Can we stop talking about my legs? Whats so great about my them?" I asked getting frustrated.

Chase started to reply to that question but I interupted him.

"Dont answer that," I said holding my hand up to his face.

Beck raised his hand a little bit.

"Yes Beck?" I asked him

"I'd like to answer your question," He replied.

I sighed, "Go ahead."

"Well, they are really long," He said rubbing the back of his neck.

I rolled my eyes at him and said, "We're gonna have a talk later."

Beck groaned and I smiled as I leaned up to whisper in his ear, "Like a pre-game pep talk."

He blushed, his cheeks pink, and cleared his throat. He put his arm around me, and Shane gaged.

"Can we save the mushy stuff till later please?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes and we walked towards the front door becuase school was already over with. I cant believe Shane and Beck got through a conversatin without punching each other...
