Chapter 16

I had picked out my blue and green striped bakini and Rylee was wearing her plain orange one she kepy stashed in my room. We slipped on out flip flops and went downstairs to the back door to wait for the guys. I opened the door to the deck as the boys came thundering down the stairs. Man where they muscled; especially Beck. Rylee and I turned around just in time to see the guys mouths drop.

  Beck came up behind me and put an arm around my waist then leaned down to wisper in my ear.

"Well dont you look beautiful," He said a smile on his lips.

   "Thank you," I said then wallked forward out the door.

"I think your drawing attention," Beck said kinda angrily looking at Shane.

  He was staring at me like a dog, drool was practically coming out of his mouth.

I laughed, "Hey Shane. Close your mouth, you'll catch a bug."

  I pulled away from Beck to walk with Rylee. I knew they where both staring at me as I walked up there and I hope they where enjoying the view cuz if they kept it up, I was gonna give them both a black eye.

 Rylee and I ran the rest of the way to the lake house with the guys not far behind. I was yelling and jumping as I ran down the dock and jumped into the water. Everyone else followed me one by one. We all came up for breath and I felt someone swim to me from behind. I turned around to face him.

  "Hey," He saidwrapping his arms around me.

"Hey yourself," I smiled.

  He leaned in to kiss me and I let him.

"Beck," Brian said from the dock.

   He looked up at him.

"I need to talk to you. Now," He said then walked away to the boat house.

   "I really need ot go talk to him. Its probably pack buisness," He said.

"Its okay. You can go," I said quietly.

   He kissed my forehead then swam to the ladder ot get out.

"Hey Lia. Watch out!" Chase yelled running full speed and doing a canon ball right in front of me.

   "You are so gonna get it!" I yelled.

He closed his eyes to rub the water off of them and thats when I dunked him under. But he grabbed my feet and pulled me off and under the water. I swam away and bumped into the ladder so i climbed up quickly.

  "You better get your butt in here now, Lia or I will come get you," Chase said.

"Haha. you cant get me!" I said laughing.

   "But i can!" Shane said pushing me in.

Chase caught me when I went in and wouldnt let me go. Preferibly I was happier with that. Shane didnt know as much about me as Chase did. And I didnt like it when people pushed me in.

  "Dont do that ever again," Chase said to Shane.

I didnt even realize i was panting with fright.

  "Geeze it was a joke," Shane said.

"Cant you tell you scared her?" Chase asked him holding me.

   "Why is she so scared?" Shane asked him cluelessly.

"Chase what happened?" Beck asked him furiously.

  "Shane pushed her in," He said swimming with me over to the ladder.

"He what?" Beck asked facing him.

   "I would like to know why she's so scared," Shane replied.

"When she was little a friend of our from school pushed her in and she hit her head. She almost died because of him and now she doesnt like it when anyone pushes her in," Beck explained leaning down to the ladder to help me up.

  "Lia, are you okay?" Beck asked me quietly sittin down with me in his lap.

I just sat there panting and shaking. I didnt respond at all.

  "Lia?" Chase asked me.

"See what you did? Come on, lets go back up to the house," Beck said carrying me.
