~~Beck's POV~~

I let LIa talk to Mr. Scar as the rest of us walked out of the classroom. On our way down the hall to our lockers we heard another scream. This one was ten times louder.

  "Where's Lia?" I asked them.

No one knew. We all took off at a run towards the room. There was a girl sitting on th floor crying.

"Hey, what happened?" I asked her.

"I came in to get my purse and she was laying on the floor. There was so much blood. She was stabbed. Some of the teachers are in there now," She said before she burst into tears again.

I froze up. I stood and ran into the classroom. The paramedics where there with a gernie trying to get her to breathe. I kept hoping it wasnt Lia, but my hopes dropped when I saw her laying in the floor covered in blood. Alec grabbed my shoulder to keep me from falling forward.

They lifted her up on the gernie and started trying to run her out of the room and down the hall. Alec and I ran after her. I called back to the guys.

"Guys, tell Brian and her parents. Meet us at the hospital!"

We ran with the paramedics to the ambulance and they asked us who we where before they let us get in.

"Who are you two?" A guy asked.

"I'm her boyfriend," I said looking at Alec.

"And im the boyfriend's best friend. Now will you please let us on?" Alec asked impatiently.

"Sure. Come on," He said and moved so we could get on.

"What happened?" I asked taking Lia's hand.

"One of the students walked in and saw her laying there. She screamed and some teachers heard her and they walked in and found her. If they didnt she would probably be dead," The guy said looking at her.

He checked her pulse and her breathing. It was a short ride to the hospital but when we got there they made us wait in the waiting room. When we walked in all the other guys where there, including Brian and Lia's parents. I sat down in the chair and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. No one said anything to me. Until Lia's mom asked me what happened.

"Maybe you should have Brian explain it to both of you," I offered and I looked at him.

Brian nodded slowly and her parents followed him to a more quiet section of the waiting room. The guys looked at me.

"Should it be wise to tell her parents everything. I mean the Elders will be here in a matter of days," Jacob offered.

"Its the only option. We cant lie to her parents about something like this. Something that a teacher did to her. He was a Hunter and no one could tell. I should have stayed behind with her. Its all my fault. Maybe i'm not her mate after all," I said and hung my head.

Alec grabbed my shoulder," This isnt your fault. It's no one's fault. None of us are able to tell which ones are Hunters and which ones aren't. And listen, I dont know anyone that loves Lia like you do, or cares about her like you do. I also dont know anyone that would be as patient with her as you. I know you've been through alot, but dont give up. She could be your mate after all, Beck. But we dont have time to think about it right now, because right now she needs you."

  I nodded in agreement.

"And if anything happens to her man, remember we'll be there for you. She's like family to us all now. She's part of the pack," Derek said looking at me.

Her parents came back looking calm as ever. Brian motioned for me to follow him. I sat with him at a table in a break room.

"What did her parents say?" I asked him.

"They knew it had to happen to her at some point. Her great-great grandfather was one too. They admitted that at first they didnt want it to be her so thats why she didnt know anything. But they accepted it. How they feel about your teacher trying to kill her..they're not to happy. They've called the police to look at the knife for fingerprints but that's all they can handle," Brian explained.

"They dont need fingerprints. I know who did it. Mr. Scar out Health teacher," I replied looking down the hallway.

"You may know, but they still need fingerprints to sue him for trying to kill her, Beck. We night want to get back out there now," Brian said getting up.

I followed him out back to the waiting room and sat down. It had been 4 hours since we got there and still no one had come out to tell us anything. I was beginnig to get worried. Then after 5 hours a doctor came out with a clipboard.

  "Lia Danvers family?" He asked.

Everyone stood up, but her parents stepped up.

"We're her parents," Her mom said.

"Lia, is doing fine. They removed the knife and stitched her up. But because of the deepness of the wound we're going to keep her overnight, and she probably wont wake up till tomorrow morning. But you can visit her now if you'd like," He said then walked away.

Brian stepped up besde her parents, "You guys go first. We'll wait."

Her parents nodded and went towards her room. The rest of us just sat waiting. I was extremely relieved that she was okay. Or as okay as someone could be when they got stabbed.
