I walked onto the boardwalk lookin' for this mystery ass nigga. I saw a dark figure coming up to me and Cocaine. She grabbed my hand tightly and I rubbed my thumb across her hand. "You got this bae." I said reassuringly. The person walked closer and closer and now I could see him dragging someone's body, it had to be my mom. That made me even more mad. I held Cocaine's hand tighter as he walked closer and closer.

I almost shot the nigga when he go close. There stood my own flesh and blood with my mother. "What the fuck Dre!" I yelled. He chuckled as if this shit was really funny.

"Hello little bro." "Little bro? What the fuck does he mean, Benji?" Koka yelled out. I sighed. "He's my older brother, but I swear I didn't know shit bout this nigga and you." I reassured. She rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

I sighed and looked back at Andre. "Why you doin' this, man?" "Well I want my girl back, plus your empire." I laughed. "Nigga, please try harder. I ain't givin' shit up!" "Well, I guess moms gon have to go." He said picking her up bridal style and putting her over the edge of the water. "Wait!" I shouted out. I sighed and pushed Koka over. She, reluctantly, let go of my hand. "Here man, just put my mom down." He smiled victoriously and we switched. I looked at Cocaine and mouthed the words "I love you." to her. She mouthed them back as she cried silently.

He dragged her away from me and it felt like my life had just ended. I have to find her and fast.

One month later…

Cocaine

Life is a living hell, I swear it is. I miss seeing my baby’s face every day. Andre is fucking crazy. What did I see in him before, y’all? Who knows?

It doesn’t help that I think I’m pregnant, too. But shh, I don’t want Andre finding out.

Right now, he’s downstairs talking to someone. He has me locked up in his room. He has this twisted fantasy that we’re married or whatever. But it can’t be a marriage, or a relationship at that, if I don’t consent…. Hold up… Who is Andre talking to? He sounds mighty familiar. I pick the lock to walk out of the room. I walk to the door where Andre is talking to this mystery guy in the next room.

This is what I hear:

Andre: “???, it’s time to take this empire over, man.”

???: “I hear ya. You got the thing that nigga loves most?”

Andre: “Yeah, his bitch is right in the next room. Funny thing is, she was my bitch first, so it’s a win-win for me.”

???: “HAHA! My man!”

Andre: “You already know it, Rock.”

Rock? Rock? Did this nigga JUST say Rock? Like, my daddy, Rock? Nah, can’t be. My daddy is in Jamaica, holding shit down for me till I can get there. Nah, can’t be my da…

The door swings open.

“Koka Yeena! What the FUCK are you doing? You stupid whore! Who told you you could listen to my conversation?! *Punch* You dirty slut! *Kick* Why are you on the ground, huh? You like being on your knees, huh? *Slap* I’ll teach you a lesson tonight to NEVER do this shit again, do you hear m…”

“Yo, son. What you say her name was?” my dad asked.

“Some bitch, Koka Yeena,” Andre responds, but not before spitting on me.

“Koka Yeena Kiyomi Baptiste?”

“Uh, yeah boss?”

“And you were just hitting her, no?”

“Hell yeah, I was! Her nosy ass deserved it!”

My dad walks up behind him and taps his shoulder. “So you think it’s cool to hit my blood, nigga?!”

Andre looks confused. I run up to my daddy and hug him so tight. Y’all don’t understand! I haven’t seen my daddy in months. And we’re closer than me and Benji are. Mhm, I know what y’all are thinking: Pretty damn close, huh? Right. “DADDY!” I yell. “I’VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!” Even though I’m in such immense pain, seeing my daddy has made my life a whole lot better..

“Wait a minute.. Did you just say daddy?” Andre asks.

“Yeah. Oh and Andre, rule of thumb, when you work for or with somebody, make sure you know their full name.”

“When we were dating, you never told me your dad’s name!”

“Correction, when you were beating me all those months and raping me, I didn’t. I don’t owe you shit!” I spit on him.

“Why, you lil…” Andre comes charging for me.

“I wouldn’t advise you do that, son.”

“Daddy, it’s fine. He’s not worth it. I’ll deal with him later. Can I use your phone, please?” I say

“Here you go, baby. Andre, let’s go have a little chat, my boy,” my daddy says. Andre actually looks terrified.

I take my daddy’s phone and go into “my” room and FaceTime my love.
