Chapter 11 ❥ Life goes on.

DEMI's POV

Weeks went by and I still haven't got any news from Amy... That makes me really sad to be honest... I read a page of her diary everyday. It is so sad to read, I hope she's getting stronger now... Also good things happend, I can audition for The Voice Kids in 2 days!
I'm really excited for it and I don't even know which song I'm gonna sing... I think I'm gonna sing demons because I love that song so much and it actually means a lot to me...

'Do you know what song you are going to sing ?' 'Yes, demons...' 'Cool, do you know how late you have to be there because its a 2 hours drive...' 'Mom, I already told youuuu' 'Okay okay, sorry' There's a sillence and mom and I just watch tv. 'When does school starts again'
'Erm' I sigh '2 weeks' 'Do you think Amy is back then' 'I don't think so, my recovery took long and she has to recover from more things than I did...'

I go back upstairs and practice my song for The Voice. After 3 times I think it sounds good enough... The rest of the day I do practially nothing again, I go to bed early and I fall asleep in 10 minutes...

'Demi, are you awake?!' I scare and look at the time, shit. 'Kinda, whats wrong?!' 'Can you come downstairs there is something who want to speak you!' I pull on some sweatpants and a T-shirt. When I come downstairs I see a man in police uniform. What the...-

'You are Lovato? Demi Lovato?' I nod. 'I wanna speak to you about something' My mom leaves the room and the officer and I sit down. 'So, you found miss Bowman in her home, right?' 'Yes thats right' 'Okay we cleared the whole area and we found a letter for Demi Lovato and thats you so here' He gives me the letter. 'I can go now' 'Thanks, bye'

'Why was he here?' 'He gave me a letter that they found with my name on it...' 'Okay, I'm going to the mall. I'll be back tonight. There is pizza in the freezer, bye' 'Bye mom'

I get myself some chips and water and go to my room. I open the letter and start reading. I have read way to many letters the past few weeks, holy...

"Demi, I write this letter quickly because I will be gone soon. Can you also give this letter to Amy please? Thanks.So, I am and was a horrible mom, I know. I've read everything in Amy's diary and her letter. So I decided to go, when Amy is back I won't change so this is better. I'm sorry for everything Amy, I love you.

Wow. Just wow... I don't know what to think of this. There is a picture in it, it is a picture of Amy when she was little with her dad and mom... Crying again. Shit. I have to focus on The Voice, because I can't screw that up. Amy will be back one day and I just have to move on. I search for a box and put the diary, the little book and all the letters in it. I put it in a corner of my closet. I don't want to remember me all the shit now, to be honest I'm getting really suicidal of it again and I am proud of the fact I recovered. I will never go back to that times...

I sing the whole song 2 times and then I go watch some tv. I am so excited for my audtion!

'Demi, hurry!' 'Yes yes sorry mom' I quickly put on some make up, grab a lipstick and a hairbrush and run downstairs. 'I'm ready' 'Do you have everything?' She names everything and I say yes on everything. We can go. In the car I put on in earphones and I practice the song a few more times.

'Demi Lovato, you can come now.' 'I'm coming!' 'Goodluck sweetheart' 'Thanks mom' I walk with the man and he says I have to wait 5 more minutes. I'm so nervous omg... I'm thinking off who I'll choose when they all turn arround but that will never happen... '1 more minute, ok. Here's your microfone, goodluck' I walk to the stage, I'm shaking. The crowd applauds loudly and when they are quiet the drummer thicks 3 times with his drumsticks and than the music starts. I take a deep breath and start singing.
