"What do you mean you had a change of heart?" I stood up folding my arms and questioned him.
"I've been so hard on her." Melvin mumbled. "Everything is my fault."
"Melvin don't say that. Things just happen."
I watched him speak but deep down I truly questioned his sincerity.
How has he switched up so quickly?
"It's true!" He placed his hands to his face as tears poured down. "I've hurt my baby girl, I've hurt my son. I'm tearing this family apart."
Even though I questioned his motives, I had never seen him cry like that before.
"I want to go see Nik!" Melvin spoke through a muffled cry. "I must apologize to her, to Kevin, all of you at the same time."
I wanted so badly to reject his wants.
But it wouldn't be right for me to deny him of rights to see his daughter.

Nikolai's POV
"Unbelievable." I said as I hung up the phone and headed down to where Prince was.
Prince stood at the pool table aiming his cue stick to make the perfect shot.
"Pow!" He blurted out and looked at me.
"Still no luck?"
"No." I shook my head while leaning against the table. I can't believe he's coming."
"Hey mama maybe it won't be so bad."
"I'm nervous, I just don't buy this whole thing about him changing. You should've heard the way he spoke to me, the way he looked at me. He really hurt me."
"Hey..." Prince lifted my chin up revealing the tears on my cheeks.
"Uh uh, I can't stand this. I can't take seeing you cry."
"I'm sorry." I mumbled through my sniffs, feeling my body being lifted and placed on the pool table.
"I don't want you to worry about this." He spoke while indulging my neck with kisses. "Do you hear me?" He stopped abruptly placing his forehead to mine as our eyes met.
"Yes."
Soon every negative emotion I had became distracted by the touch of his lips. I felt his hand slowly lift up my shirt as his fingertips grazed against my lower back.
"Mmmm.." A moan escaped my lips and my hands covered my mouth quickly.
"What are you covering your mouth for hm?" He asked and took my hands down. "I like hearing your response to what I'm doing to you."
I glanced at him feeling a smile form while resting my arms on his shoulders.
"Well if that's the case keep going."
"Ahem mm!" Our lips parted as we both quickly looked towards the entrance.
"What is going on?" Jennifer asked with a look of horror.
