Nikolai's POV

"What do you think about highlighting it?" Prince's hairstylist Kim asked she fluffed my hair.

"That would require bleach huh? Mm.. I'm not sure."

"There's my beautiful fiancée!" Prince greeted as he walked in, quickly making his way over to me.

I said yes. After three days of thinking (agonizing pain is what Prince liked to call it) I finally accepted the beautiful ring and was officially branded the Future Mrs. Prince Rogers Nelson.

Finally coming to terms about what I wanted to do, all of the doubt and nervousness I had before was no longer an issue. Announcing the news was though? A whole different thing. Prince and I had come to a decision to tell only close family and a few members of his camp. The reason? We didn't want anything leaked to the press and a proper announcement would come at the first of the year. So of course this means everyone swore to keep their mouths closed. Overall, the few that were told? beyond ecstatic. Hell, even Melvin was happy.

"Kim what are you all planning to do with all of my gorgeous locks?" Prince asked as he slid his hands through my curls, stroking away.

"Ah they're mine." I swatted his hand. "And you're stroking me like I'm Paisley or something."

"Where's that furry puss at anyway?" Prince asked.

"Last time I checked she was in Studio B, recording."

"Very funny mama. Listen whatever y'all decide to do, I'm with it. Just don't cut it so short this time."

"I thought you just said you're with whatever we do?" I asked as my brow raised.

"Just don't chop it off alright?" said Prince. "A brother's gotta have something to pull on."

"Enough! I've had it with your mouth Nelson. Get out." I demanded as Kim chuckled under her breath.

"Alright I'm going. Kim, I'll see you later. Bye Mrs. Nelson, I'll be seeing you later too."

"Come on, in here!" I signaled to Jennifer to follow Marie and I into the wardrobe department. Looking out carefully to make sure no one was around, I eased the door shut and locked it.

"Finally." I walked over, letting out a sigh of relief as Jennifer reached for my hand.

"Let me see that rock! Go on, switch it to the real hand." Jennifer grinned as I slid the ring unto my finger.

"That Prince is quite clever, got you wearing it on your opposite hand so no one else could know."

"He is!" I replied to Marie.

"It's a beautiful ring, can you believe that next year you'll be married? You know he'd tell me that you're his soulmate all the time." Jennifer said.

"Really? As pigheaded as he can be sometimes, he's even more incredible to me. I love him so much."

"Look at her she's swooning."

"And glowing." Marie added.

THUMP! The sounded came from the entrance as we all looked around.
