"Can you center that just a bit more? Thank you." Prince said to the decorator.
The day was a special occasion indeed, and everything had to go through perfectly.

Believe it or not, there was a new lady in Prince's life. She had been around only a short amount of years, but once she arrived he quickly fell in love. She was his everything, the owner of his heart, he liked to say.

"Jennifer can you call and make sure they're still busy? Prince asked his assistant. "I just want to make sure the surprise isn't ruined if they come back too soon."

"I'm on it boss." Jennifer eased up slowly before Prince extended a helping hand. She was six months pregnant and heavy, it was the least he could do.

Strolling through the hallway of the venue, he carefully examined every bit of the intricate details from the decorations.

Placing a pen next to the message book resting on the welcome table, Prince noticed several gold star centerpieces which the head of decor had placed. With little pondering he swiped two, heading back into the main room.

"I like that better." He smiled after placing the stars on each sides of the cake.

"Nailah's going to love this."

"Boss?" Jennifer waddled to him and patted his shoulder. "They're forty-five minutes away."

"Thank you." Prince scurried off, hurrying to check with every single person to make sure things were set.

Forty-five minutes turned into an hour with traffic surely being the blame. Glancing through the window, he saw a black Mercedes Benz pull into the driveway.

"They're here, lower the lights." Prince signaled to Jennifer as his face lit up with delight. His eyes focused on the two guests that exited the vehicle, before making their way to the door.

A small smile graced his lips as the special guests came into the entry.

"Dada! Hi!" A piping but pleasant voice greeted.

Coming up to his hip only, the small brunette with tight curls and rosy cheeks, smiled widely at her father as she grabbed his hands.

"Nailah my darling? Did you and mommy have good time for your birthday? You both look so pretty. I can't decide who looks prettier."

Nikolai blushed from the words of her husband. "I'd like to think we look pretty, equally. Right kiddo?"

"Eggzactly." Their daughter agreed. "Dada why is it so dim in here? What is this place?"

"We have a surprise for you. Won't you come with us and see." Prince smiled looking down into her grey eyes.

"I knew you all were up to something." Nailah whispered up to her mother.
