Chapter 2

"How you doin, y'all? My name's Mike. I'm foolin with the new shit. I'm doin it all night."

My heart was beating out of my chest.

There he was, right in front of me. Michael fucking Shinoda was right in front of me, rapping his heart out. His voice was perfect and better in person than in the recorded versions.

I was sweating from the bright lights and the body heat from people standing close to me. I was so hyper from excitement and still a bit anxious.

I couldn't get over how close he was. I prayed that he would get down in the crowd so I could be even closer.

Ryu and Tak were there too and they were amazing as well.

After Petrified they went straight into In Stereo and then Believe Me after that. The set list was already so good and the show had barely started.

Then finally they played my favorite song which was Cigarettes. That song was so amazing to me. Every little part of it is perfect.

I rapped along with him during it and I just knew I was smiling like an idiot.

Towards the end of the song, I could've swore when he looked down into the crowd we made eye contact. It was probably just my mind telling me we locked eyes but I honestly didn't care.

After Cigarettes they played Where'd You Go. Mike sang Holly's parts and it was the most beautiful thing I think I'd ever heard. I didn't understand why he didn't sing more because his singing voice was amazing.

Then they played High Road, Red to Black and of course Remember The Name. During Remeber The Name, Mike got down in the crowd and sang. Sadly I didn't get to touch his hand but he was literally like a foot away from me and I almost had a heart attack.

After Remember The Name they played a few songs off of We Major and then the show came to a close.

I was really bummed that the show ended but I had an amazing time. It was after the show that I realized Ryan and Amir were still with me. I had completely blocked them out during the show.

We made our way out of the building with the rest of the fans from the venue.
