There's a lot of POV changes in this chapter, sorry.

Chester's POV
A few months after the announcement of Mike and Jada's baby, we all went on that trip to Hawaii together. In all, there was 16 people. Me, Ryan, Mike, Max, Jada, Jay, Jack, Judah, my parents, Mike's parents, Ryan's parents and Jada's parents. It was crazy getting everyone at the airport and onto the plane on time and making sure everyone got on the right plane. Both Mike and I were the ones who had set up the trip, getting everyone tickets, and reserving everyone's hotel rooms and things like that, so we were both nervous wrecks the day we left for the trip.

We all made it to Hawaii fine though. I learned that Ryan also had a fear of flying and Max was the complete opposite. She wanted to be right by the window and looked out of it almost the whole time.

"She's gonna be a daredevil." I said as I watched her look down at the ground below us from the window with such curiosity. Ryan smiled. "She already is. Remember when she got her little boogie board and tried to go down the stairs on it? Yeah. She's gonna be insane when she gets her license." He said. I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder. I glanced over at the row beside us and saw Mike and Jada giggling like a couple of tweens. They were so in love and I was so happy for them.

After a while we finally made it to Hawaii, and we went to our hotel first to put our things away.

"I wanna go with daddy." Max pouted, crossing her arms, once we got to the hotel. "Mike, I know it's our week with her but she wants you." I said to Mike as we walked in the hotel. He nodded. "Okay, Max. You can stay with me and JJ." Mike said. Max ran over to him and he took her hand.

Max had always favored Mike more than me. It made me a little sad, but oh well. I knew she was in for it when she became a teen. I knew he would be strict as hell with her and I'd be the layed back one. I'd be the cool dad then, ha!

Anyway, we checked into our rooms and put our suitcases and bags down. Then plopped onto the bed.

"I'm ready for bed." Ryan mumbled as he closed his eyes and snuggled up to me. I chuckled. "Ryan. It's two in the afternoon." I said. "And?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Okay tired boy. I think I'm gonna go for a swim in the pool. You gonna be good?" I asked. "Duh. I'm gonna have me a little nap and be well rested to love on you later." He said. I smiled. "Alright, Ry. See you in a bit." I kissed his cheek and put on some swim trunks. Then I made my way down to the pool. When I got out there I saw that Mike, Jason and Max were down there just getting in.

"Hey Ches." Mike said when he saw me. "Hey." I said. "Where's Jada?" I asked. "Up in our room. She's not feeling too good. Ever since we've gotten off the plane she's felt sick." He said with a shrug. "Ah." I said. "Where's Ryan?" He asked. "Sleeping his life away." I said. "Ah." Mike said back in the same way I had.

"He hates my guts you know." Mike said. I lit up a cigarette and sat on the edge of the pool with my feet in it. I nodded and took a drag. "I know. I can't change that though." I said. "I just wish he'd stop being a dick to me." I nodded again. "I'll talk to him, but I doubt it'll do any good." I said. He didn't say anything else, just kept swimming in the pool with Max who was in a life jacket. Jay had layed back on a lawn chair, put his headphones in and had his eyes closed.

After I finished my smoke, I slid down into the pool as well. I swam around a little and played with Max.

"Remember when you couldn't swim?" Mike asked with a little laugh. I chuckled. "Remember the time I almost fucking drowned and Till saved me? Dear God... that was so long ago." I said.

"I miss those days..." Mike said with a sigh. "I love Jada. I love her so much and I'm so happy to be having a child with her, but... I don't think I'll ever feel that love again. The love you and I had when we first met." He looked me in the eyes and I nodded and looked away. "Yeah." I said. "But... I'm happier than I have been in a while, so that's great. I can't wait to hold my baby boy, Ches."
