Chapter 19

Mike and I woke up that next morning with eachother. I woke up first, and was amazed at how beautiful the man sleeping next to me was. He was always beautiful, but this morning he was even more so.

I put my hand on his cheek and ran my thumb across the smooth surface. He stirred a little and opened his eyes slightly. A little smile spread across his face. "Good morning." He said. "Good morning Mike." I said back. "That was the best that I've slept in weeks." He said as he stretched. "Me too."

We both got out of bed. "I'm going to take a quick shower. I'll be right back." I said. I gave him a quick kiss before I got some clothes and went out the door to the bathroom.

Mike's POV
As I was waiting for Chester to get back, his mother walked by the room. About two seconds later she backed up and looked at me.

"Well... hello Mike. I didn't know you came back?" She said. "Oh yeah, I came back yesterday afternoon." I said. "Well I'm glad you came back. You're one of the only things that makes Chester happy. Thank you for that." She said. I smiled and nodded. "You don't have to thank me. He's an amazing kid. He's one of the only things that makes me happy these days." I said. She smiled.

"Breakfast is downstairs if you want to go eat. Just make yourself at home." She said. "Thank you Mrs. Bennington." I said. She shook her head and chuckled. "You can call me Susan." She said. "Thank you Susan." She smiled and walked away again.

Chester came back a few minutes after that. After he came back, I went and took a shower as well and put on some new clothes.

We walked to the kitchen together and saw that all of his siblings and his dad were sitting around the table.

"This is Brian." Chester said as he pointed to a boy that was probably a year younger than him. "That's Katherine." He said as he pointed to a girl that looked to be about fourteen or fifteen. "And that's Annie." He said as he pointed to a girl that was about ten.

"I'm Mike. It's nice to meet all of you guys." I said. "Are you the guy my brother never shuts up about?" Annie asked. I chuckled and looked over at Chester. He turned red and rolled his eyes. "Annie please shut up." Chester said as he took his seat at the table. I just laughed again and sat beside him.

We ate our food together and I chatted with his siblings. They were all really sweet and kind to me.

Brian seemed a little shy, but we had a nice conversation about studio equipment. He seemed to know a lot about that and I assumed that he wanted to be a producer or something, but he informed me that he actually wanted to be cop like his dad.

Annie was a very talkative little girl and asked questions about just about everything. Chester seemed very annoyed by her, but I thought she was cute.

Katherine didn't say too much, but was sweet. Her and I mainly talked about school and stuff like that.

After we ate, Chester and I washed everyone's dishes. Then Chester and I went out to spend our day together. I got my keys and we went out to the driveway. His eyes widened when he saw my car. It was a silver Mercedes.

"Holy shit." He said. I chuckled and unlocked the doors. I opened the passenger side door for him. "You're such a gentleman." He said as he got in. "Only the best for Mr. Bennington." I said before I shut the door. I got in on my side and started up the car. His eyes looked over all of the buttons and lights. "This is so nice." He said.

"Thanks." I said as I pulled out of the driveway. "It's like the only nice thing I've bought with my money, besides studio equipment." I started driving toward the mall that I had seen the last time I was in Phoenix.
