Once we got home we talked a lot in Andy's room.
"Why don't we convert the old game room into a workout room, and a dance studio?" Andy asked with a smile on his face.
"Are you crazy? That would be a lot of work. And besides, you're only gonna be here for what. Another year," I said pulling my hair up into a ponytail. "so what would be the point?"
"Yeah, but make the most of it. It'll be fun. We can sell some of the newer stuff and throw away the old, or just move some of it into the living room," Andy said. I nodded my head yawning again as I went along with his idea anyways.
"So how long did it take you to get over that hangover this morning?" I laughed, closing my eyes and leaning up against the wall as I was sat on his bed.
"Only halfway through the day," he rolled his eyes sarcastically.
"It took me forever, bro," I added, yawning again. I quickly checked my phone and saw I had a text message from Tina and one from Mike.
"I'm gonna go to bed. I am so tired," I said getting up from his bed.
"Okay. Goodnight little sister," he engulfed me in a hug and I went straight to my room afterwards. I played my music softly in the background as I opened Tina's text.
T: So tomorrow after school. Meet me in auditorium, we need to get the dance moves down or we're screwed
A: K, see u tomorrowThen I went to Mike's text.
M: Hey, just wanted to see if you'd want some help with your dancing after school tomorrow
A: I have to see Tina, and besides don't u have football practice?
M: Yeah that's a good point. I'll see you in the morning
A: See yaThen I shut my phone off, plugged it into the charger. and fell fast asleep.
Next thing I knew my alarm was waking me up and I actually felt like I had some sleep. I had been asleep for ten hours and I hadn't slept more in years.
I got up and went into the bathroom to take a shower and straightened my hair again. I then put on my black Hogwarts beanie I wore the day before. I slipped into my black leggings and an old grey t-shirt and called it a day. I didn't really care if people saw some of the scars on my arms. They weren't noticeable unless you really were looking for them. I had three on my left arm that went vertical and one of my right that went across my wrist.
I was suicidal at one point in my life, but I'm getting better all on my own. I slipped on my socks and put on a little bit of mascara before walking downstairs with my bag by my side.
I went into the kitchen where Andy was cooking himself eggs. I hopped up onto one of the chairs set across the breakfast bar. I took my phone out and went onto Instagram and watched a couple of videos before it was time to go pick up Mike.
Throughout the day, I just read my book. Everyone was suppose to do class work in homeroom and I finished early so I just read my book to kill time. At the end of the day my almost four-hundred page book was finished and I was stuck doing nothing for sixth period. So I decided to look through some of my old sketches. I found out that I had Artie in that class. He sat at the desk behind me and we became friends within minutes. Not good friends, but friends.
The first drawing I did was of my dog that died when I was twelve, then I saw the flowers I drew back in Indiana. Then I flipped through a couple more that were a bit more depressing.
"You're really good," I heard someone whisper from behind me. I turned to see Artie who was reading a book that was planted in his lap. I smiled at him with appreciation, not wanting to speak because of the teacher. I turned a couple more pages and found myself at the page where I was sketching a figure in my room after my episode.
