"You are so screwed. You know that right?" Mike laughed. I shook my head with a smile "I know" I giggled. I knew I'd have to go to her office to retrieve my phone later that day. I wasn't looking forward to it and I'd have to leave lunch early to get it back. I was hoping Mike would walk with me, but I knew how Sue worked, she would tell everyone Mike and I were a thing even though we aren't, if she saw him with me.

I took another fry off his plate and shoved it into my mouth. I sighed against the cold weather. "I miss when we could be like this with each other" I said, shifting my gaze to Mike. His eyes were racing back and fourth from one of my eyes to the other. I watched as he stared at me in interest and admiration. "Acting like there isn't a care in the world" I snorted and turned to stare off into the distance.

"It will get better Autumn. I hope you know that" I felt a warm hand make its way to my shoulder. I felt like electricity was running through my veins when his skin connected to my hoodie. I just wanted to fall asleep in his arms again. Call me crazy but I think Im falling in love. "I know..." is all I said. I felt his hand slowly slide away from my arm and he finished his lunch with fifteen minutes before the next bell.

"Well, I guess it's time to face the devil herself." I sighed. Mike looked up at me with a smirk on his face.

"Okay. I'll walk with you." he offered, getting to his feet and throwing his remaining fries into his mouth.

"No. I'll make it quick, I promise. Meet you back up here." I quickly announced before rushing down the stairs and making it to Sue's office.

She was sat behind her desk with a salad in front of her, crunching down on the crisp lettuce leaves with an obnoxious smirk on her face as she did. After school I retrieved my phone from Sue.

To my luck, the only notifications that were sent to me were through email for job applications.

"Next time I see that phone out while you are in this gym, I will get your father to pick it up for you. I'm sure he'll love that." Sue threatened.

"Understood." I replied, making me way back to Mike in a hurry. Sue's words kept replaying in my head as I ran up the stairs to the roof.

"Its cold up here!" I exclaimed, holding my arms close to my body for heat as I resumed my spot next to Mike. I snuggled into my hoodie more and flipped the hood up over my head. My beanie managed to cover my ears but my hands were still cold even in my pocket.

"Come on" Mike said with a smile, extending his hand to reach mine. I took his hand despite having just sat down and stood on my shivering feet along with Mike. He walked over to a small box the was sat on top of the roof and placed his phone on top of it. He began to blast one of his playlists which played Don't Stop Believing. I smiled at him, "I love this song".

"So do I" Mike smirked. He bent over to pick up the tray of an empty plastic container which held the fries and some empty ketchup and mustard packets and watched as the song continued and he dumped the remaining trash on the ground and used the tray as a prop as he begun to dance.

I giggled as he hid behind the tray and popped out then swung it around his back. He continued to dance around me and all I wanted to do was reach for my phone and record him. I burst out laughing as I snatched up my phone, quickly snapping a few clips of him dancing and finishing with a flip in the air.

He shut his phone off and the music stopped. He was laughing and smiling as he looked up at me. "And now I'm all warm" he smiled. I couldn't help but mirror his contagious smile. Suddenly, I realized I wasn't as cold as I had been a few minutes ago. "Now what would I do without a Mike Chang in my life" I giggled, colliding into him to engulf him in a hug. He smelt of sweet smelling cologne.
