I woke up the next morning with a hangover. We drank a lot in Andy's room after we all got home. Mike didn't get shitfaced but he had a nice buzz the whole night. I woke up when Andy's alarm went off at 5:45 and the whole room was filled with groans and moans. I was the one to get to my feet and turn his alarm off and shake him awake to take a shower. My eyes were closed for the most part and when he finally sat up with his head in his hands I face planted onto his mattress. Andy fell asleep in his bed, I fell asleep on the floor next his bed and Mike was out on the couch in Andy's room.

I yawned as Andy made his way into the bathroom, coming back, poking me in the back. I turned over and saw Andy handing me a small blue pill. I took it and swallowed it against my dry throat. He walked over to Mike who was still asleep and shook him awake, following his actions again and a confused Mike sat up, but took the pill in his palm nevertheless. His eyes were squinted as he soon swallowed the pill in one gulp.

Once we all got ready for school I could tell my headache was the worst out of the three of us. When our dad drove us to school, everyone was silent. When we did get to the school building I started the conversation.

"Can you guys meet me and Tina in the auditorium after school?" I asked, opening my locker with Mike leant against the one next to Andy and Andy working on opening his locker to his binders out.

"Yeah, why whats up?" Andy asked, but by the look on Mike's face he was fine with meeting there. "I just want to work on the trio dance. Plus, I want you to watch as it goes together" I explained and closed my lockerX following Mike to his. He grabbed what he needed and we walked towards Andy's class first since it was on the first floor while Mike and mine were on the next floor up.

"Hey, get talking to her. I'm sure she'll love you" I winked at my brother as he entered homeroom. I walked in step with Mike as we made our way up the steps. "Thanks for spending the night. I appreciate it" I thanked him, turning and catching his eye before pushing through the doors and turning the corner, coming face to face with yet another slushee. I gasped as the cold hit my face and clenched my jaw and fists at my side.

"Son of bitch" I laughed. I wiped the blue slush out of my eyes before turning to Mike who was drenched in purple. I wiped the slush off my face, licking my lips and actually enjoying the taste. Mike wiped his eyes, watching me laugh.

"Can we just ditch first period?" I giggled and Mike just smiled. "I don't care. I have a substitute all week anyways" Mike replied, making his way to the boys bathroom. I followed and just like the first time we were slusheed he scanned the room to see if anyone was in there before letting me in.

"Again, I don't care if I see anyones dick. Nothing I haven't seen before" I giggled. I was in a good mood for once and my headache had gone away by then. I made my way to the sink, washing the slushee off my face. My hair was then soaked in sugar water and my clothes had damp spots on the front of my attire. I took my hoodie off, revealing my cold shoulder, dreamcatcher sweater underneath. My jeans were still wet but they would have to do. I tied my hoodie around my waist and turned to Mike who was trying to style his hair the best he could without product. He gave up eventually and laid his hair against his forehead.

"So," I smiled mischievously. "I'd say we should go to the roof. But we'd freeze out there with all this water. So where shall we go?" I asked, looking into his deep brown eyes. We stood in silence before the tardy bell rang.

"I guess we could go to the choir room for the meantime" Mike suggested. I agreed, following him to the choir room, leaving the lights off as we made our way to two chairs in the back of the room, using only our phones as flashlights, and making sure not to trip over anything.

"I'm sorry about yesterday" I explained. He shot me a curious glare before replying. "Why?".

"Because I shouldn't have brought you into that and before you try and tell me otherwise, I have other reasons why that went wrong" I insisted, seeing I had his attention on me as I explained. In the dim lighting, I could see just an outline of a person and the way he crooked his head or when he tensed his shoulders I could tell his expression. Mike never expressed himself in words or facial expressions but by his body. The way it moves is like his air and he gasps for a breath every time he dances. I think that's why he is such a good dancer.

"Fine, but you need to know not everything is your fault" he replied in defeat. I sighed, "I know, it just seems like it is" I shot back. He sat in silence for a little while before getting out of his seat.

"Where are you going?" I asked, getting to my feet. But by the time I was up, I couldn't find Mike's stilluette in the darkness. Then I saw him in the shadows by the door, he looked out the glass fixture before flicking the lights on.

"What are you doing? We're gonna get caught playing hookie!" I alarmed him in an emergent hushed tone. He shot me a smirk that filled me with butterflies. His eyes were bright and filled with wonder and his smile were playing lightly on his lips, like it was the most natural thing in the world. It was a daring smile, it was hard not to stare.

"Madam" he lifted a hand in the air with his palm up. I looked at his hand and then him. I smiled. "What are you doing, Michael" I giggled and took his hand in mine, despite the voices in my head telling me to refuse. He placed a hand on my waist and a hand in mine. I placed mine around his neck and he began to sway back and fourth.

I couldn't stop laughing. It was like a scene from Harry Potter, when Harry and Hermione were left in the woods when Ron stormed off because of a horcrux, and began dancing for no apparent reason. Mike did nothing but smile and spin, while I couldn't control my laughter.

"What are you doing!?" I laughed, throwing my head back as Mike swung us around, somehow avoiding every step I made when I thought I was going to step on his toes. Mike chuckled as I looked him straight in the eyes and burst out laughing again.

Before I knew how long we had been dancing, the bell rang, snapping me out of my happy state. "What the hell!?" I shouted which followed a fit of giggles, resulting in me jerking away from Mike. I've always been afraid someone would see us together, alone, and think something that wasn't going on, and somehow everyone would hate me for the way I think about Mike.

I grabbed my backpack and went over to Mike with his also at hand. "Thank you for the amazing morning" I smiled up at him before leaving the room to go to my next class.

After school I found my way to the auditorium and as planned I was the first to arrive. The room was empty but lit brightly by stage lights that had been left on. I walked around the front stage and placed my bag against the wall. I made my way to the edge of the stage and slid to my bottom, my legs dangling over the edge and the light tapping of my heels echoing off the walls. I waited hardly any time for people to show up one by one. First Mike, then Tina, and lastly my brother.

"Oh..." Tina trailed off. "Andy's watching? Is he gonna be joining Glee Club?" Tina asked as Andy made his way into the auditorium. Tina didn't seem to mind or care if he was or if he wasn't.

"No, I don't think he will be" I glanced over from Tina to Andy. I couldn't tell her about Andy's debacle with what happened the night before. It wasn't my place to say anything and I couldn't give Tina hope that he might be joining even though he probably wasn't since he missed Mom so much.

Andy came over to us as I remained on the ground when myself, Tina, and Mike were all sitting on the edge of the stage.

"I think I might" is all he said. I shot him a confused look before he began to explain. "I've been thinking about what you said yesterday... about Mom" he replied, keeping eye contact with me even though he had both Tina and Mike's attentions as well as mine.

"So are you going to be joining us for Regionals?" I asked. He hesitated for a moment.

"Yes" he finally answered. My mouth dropped and suddenly my ears were filled with fog, like everything had gone blurry but Andy. "Wow!" I breathed out, looking over and seeing Tina and Mike mirroring the same reaction, pure happiness.

Didn't know how to end this chapter. I love yall!
