*Tresean's POV*

I grabbed Myka’s other arm and helped Marcus move her over onto the couch. Gale and I both sat down either side of her as everyone else took a seat. Of corse Silvia sat down right next to me. Practically in my lap she was that close. Myka raised an eyebrow at me questioning about Silvia. I just shook my head. She shrugged and turned back to face everyone.

“So what’s this The One thing?” She asked. It was silent for a minute. Seemed like no one wanted to explain so I did instead.

“The prophecy. ‘De maximis et perveniant in tempore necessitatis. Semel quidem visus est mundani et propria voluntate consequi ingenio ingeniosi. Gimel reddet ei victoriam viam pessimum inimicorum tres Diaboli.’ Of corse it’s in Latin though. In English it says, ‘The One shall arrive in our greatest time of need. Once a mundane will gain the True Sight and special abilities gifted. She will lead the way to victory over our worst enemies, the three Devils’.” I said simply.

“Huh.” Was Myka’s only answer.

“That’s it? I was kind of expecting a giant screaming hysterical reaction.” Gale asked her. She elbowed him in his side then turned back to face me.

“I think you have the wrong girl then.” She stated.

“No. We don’t. It’s all there and even Kaycee believes your The One. We’re not wrong.” I replied.

“I felt a disturbance in the balance of good and evil exactly 18 years ago from yesterday. That was when you were born Myka. We’re not wrong. And they Fey can never lie. I only speak of the truth.” Everest said gently. Myka all of a sudden seemed as if to shrink of fright.

“But I can’t lead you guys to victory! I can’t even win against Gale in Mario Kart on the Wii.” She stated. Tyler cracked up laughing.

“That’s alright babe. I’ll teach you that... and other stuff.” He said with a wink to her. She screwed up her nose.

“Yay?” She replied practically asking. We all started laughing.

“Okay, let’s start with the abilities now that we know your The One.” I said.

“Alright, me and Myka have figured out that she has the True Sight and she can see auras when she wants. Although we don’t know exactly what she is. Like werwolf, vampire, etcertera.” Gale replied.

“Prove your True Sight darling.” I said. She nodded then crossed her legs and closed her eyes. When she opened them they weren’t green anymore but rainbow.

“Wow. That’s cool.” Ruby said. Myka closed her eyes and turned off the True Sight again.

“Sorry, I just don’t like seeing all the fangs, claws and weirdly coloured eyes.” She apologized.

“That’s alright. Just be glad you can turn it off. We can’t.” I stated. She turned to Gale after this news.

“You can’t? Then how’d you know I can?” She asked.

“Guessed.” He replied with a shrug. She rolled her eyes.

“Auras. What happens?” I asked.

“When I turn on the True Sight thingy, everyone is each surrounded by a different colour that like floats around your body. Gale’s is gold and Kaycee has this dark, thick, muggy black and red one.” She replied.

“Interesting.” I replied. “You are one special girl. Now we just need to figure what else you can do.” Myka smiled shyly and hid behind her long shiny brown hair. I just wanted to reach out and run my fingers through that hair. Oh no. I think I’m falling in love with her already.
