*Myka's POV*

I nearly ran right into Tresean.

“Woah. Sorry.” I apologized and took a step to the side quickly checking him out. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a white shirt and black skinny jeans. No shoes.

“That’s okay darling. Come on.” He said and started leading me into another huge but empty room. Inside the room was a giant brown leather couch with a coffee table in front. There was a guitar layed out on the couch and sheet music everywhere.

“You play?” I asked suprised as Tresean picked up the guitar and sat down on the couch.

“Yeah, ever since I was seven.” He answered. I sat next to him. “You play?” He asked as he started sturmming a slow tune.

“I’ve always wanted to, but no. I didn’t have the time to. I was always training for my running.” I answered slightly embarrased.

“Maybe one day, after all this mess, I can teach you?” He asked. I smiled.

“I’d love to but I don’t think I’ll be a very good student.” I answered.

“Well good thing I’m a great teacher then huh?” He said with a smile making me smile back.

“Then that sounds great.” I replied.

“I started a new song last night after I met you. I haven’t finished yet but, did you want to hear it?” He asked shyly making my heart melt.

“You write? And sure, I’d love to hear it.” I replied smiling. He looked through a stack of sheet music until he found one that had lots of scribbles on it and was titled ‘The One’. Slowly he started strumming then singing. His voice is amazing! I was mesmorized by his singing.

“Oh, I don’t know what to say,

My memories of you, will not fade away,

I’m spending all my life, trying to fake a smile,

While deep inside, I’m wasting time,

Knowing that you can’t be mine.”

Slowly Tresean finished strumming then looked up into my eyes.

“Wow.” I said. He smiled.

“You like it? I mean it’s not finished or anything and I only just started last nig-” I cut him off by putting a single finger to his lips.

“It’s perfect.” I said. Damn he’s hot. Quickly I pushed that thought away. I’d nearly kissed Marcus just before and now I was thinking about Tresean. This isn’t normally like me.

“Play it for me when it’s finished?” I asked tuning back into reality and removing my hand. Soft lips.

“Sure.” He agreed. I smiled then looked over into the corner on a little stage-like platform where a big solid white grand piano stood.

“Oh, can I play it? Please?” I begged staring at the piano in awe. Tresean smiled at me.

“Of corse.” He replied and I quickly ran over to the piano. I sat down and ran my fingers over the keys of the piano. Quickly I tied my hair up in a messy bun and  slowly began to play random keys.

“You realise that sounds horrible right?” Tresean asked as he came and sat down beside me.

“Now that is not very nice. You’ve really hurt my feelings.” I said sarcasticly and put a hand to my heart. He began to play a nice song on the piano.
