"Come now child, tell us your real name." The general asked. I couldn't tell you how many times this was asked of me in a day. And it wasn't that I was holding out on telling them because of my allegiance to the First Order. No, my allegiance was to myself currently. To try and get out of here. To get back to my base, and to finally be back to normal. That was the one thing here at the Resistance though, they didn't treat their prisoners like I was told they did when I was training.

They fed me, they gave me a change of clothes, they didn't beat me unless I tried to fight one of their own. The older woman in front of me sighed, turning towards the door that connected my cell to a hallway.

"Just know, Kou. We want to help you. Finn speaks highly of you." My head snapped up at that comment. Her wrinkled eyes met my wide ones. General Organa, she looked so kind and gentle. So wise, but I knew that she ordered one of the greatest fleets a rebel army has ever seen.

    Finn's still here. Finn's alive.

She noticed how I became intrigued in this, I knew he had made it through the ambush at Maz's place. But I didn't get to see if he was here, let alone alive. And with that final stare, she was gone once more. Minutes turned to hours, hours changed to days.

I had been sleeping when the cell door had opened up. My eyes opened to see him. I didn't think he'd make it alive after being captured on Jakku. He was wearing a white short sleeved shirt, and dark brown pants. His hair curly like when I met him in the dark. He just looked at me, not really knowing where to start.

"Hey, kid." I mumbled, resting my head back against the wall. He tried not to have a reaction to my joke. He crossed his arms over his chest. I would be lying if I said I wasn't checking him out.

"So if it's not Ava Yuval. Or Kou. Who are you? Finn won't tell anyone, saying it's too personal." He began to pace, "Besides, why? Why the First Order? How could you help them kill all those people that night?" He stopped walking to look at me.

That's what did it, I stood up rushing into his face. But was abruptly stopped by the chains holding my wrists to the wall. Our faces maybe five inches apart, glaring at one another.

"Don't you dare try and associate what they did that night with me." I hissed, wishing so badly to slap him. His eyes studied my own, waiting for more.

"They told me to locate Lor San Tekka. So they could interrogate him, it was my idea to act like a victim to try and stop any idiots like you from trying to be the hero." His expression did not fade. Silence inclosed us.

"Why? Why would you, a careless bounty hunter care whether those innocent people died?" I knew what he was doing, and it was working. And all I could see in my mind was my family's death.

"Three years ago, I witnessed an attack on Naboo from the Resistance. And stray shots blew up my home. My mother, my father, my baby brother. While all I could do is watch, innocent lives that didn't need to die. I vowed that day, to only kill those who deserved to die from the Resistance. You people destroyed my life." He didn't know what to say at my outburst.

"Happy now?" I questioned, a sadistic smile on my face. His mouth was slightly agape.

He sighed, "I remember that mission. I wasn't on it, but I know what happened. We had intercepted a transmission from the First Order, about recruiting young men to join their cause. Willingly or not." He began, my eyes looked for any form of a lie.

"My commander at the time lead a small squadron to Naboo to try and pull off a rescue mission. TIE fighters had taken notice to them on their scanners, and before we could warn them about the incoming attack they were fighting." He continued watching my face, I began walking towards the cell window not believing what I was hearing.

"One of the pilots, whose x-wing was already damaged had tried to distract the fight away from a small farm village. But, from the short-circuiting his guns went off. When he came back, for weeks he was driven with guilt." I couldn't believe it, the Resistance wasn't there to conquer our planet. But to save our boys, my brother.

"Tell me now, what your name is." Poe said, not a question a command. I stood there, in disbelief after all this. My name was still the focal point.

After another minute of hesitation, "Odessa. Odessa Paki."
