As soon as I was up the next morning, I felt both my head and my ankle hurt really but. I yawn and sat up straight and pulled my ankle closer to me, moving it softly with my hand. I grimaced but it didn’t hurt as bad as it was yesterday. Oh fuck…I slept in Derek’s arms didn’t i? I groaned in frustration with myself. First telling him it was okay to start over as friends and later sleeping in his arms wasn’t cool.
Cassie wake up rubbing her eyes and yawing softly as she, as well, sat up straight. Once she saw me she gave me a small smile
-How’s your ankle? She asked her voice hoarse from both the sleep but the way she was singing \ screaming last night. I laughed a little at that
-I can move it. Crap my voice. I said reaching for my throat as I realized my voice was hoarse as well. Ugh. She walked over to my bed and sat crossed leg in front of me.
-So…you slept in- I held my palm out to her nodding
-I know. I was just tired. I offended myself. My sister arched her brow at me
-It was nothing. I insisted.
-Monica… I know you don’t need anyone to tell you what to do but he..He hurt you a lot and giving him a second chance, even starting as ‘’friends’’ –may I add she air quoted that- I just don’t think is good given your history. I sighed.
-I don’t believe in friendship when two people felt things for each other, and I don’t want to see you getting hurt all over again by the same person. I nodded. I understand her, and what she meant but everyone deserved a second chance right?
-We’ll see how it goes. I simply told her shrugging and she just nodded that she agreed with me.
-What happened after I fell asleep? I asked her
-Nothing. Gregory left and..he kissed my cheek. She flushed. Oh wait a minute. Flushed?
-So you do crushing on him then? She nodded in which I smiled
-It just…When we were dancing and then when he kissed me good bye…My heart was beating too fast. And when we got back here and after I help Derek put you in bed, I was shaking. She explained. I gave her a knowing smile
-Aww. I’m actually rooting for you guys. He’s ho and not a jerk like his twin. She nodded in agreement to that
-So…Derek put me in bed? I asked glancing down at me. Yep, I was still wearing last night’s dress.
-Yeah along with Gabriel. He came over to help after Chloe went to her dorm. Keith also wanted to come but Briana told him something and then they just left. The rest of the girls went to their rooms. I nodded. So Gabriel had came over as well…Why?
-I need a shower and some coffee. She announced
-I need both but mostly coffee. I replied. The door knocked and we both jumped. Cassie walked over there and opened up. From where I was I couldn’t see who was at the door so I had to wait
-Hey there sleeping beauty. Keith teased me entering the room. He was caring two cups of coffee and I could see that he already had gave one to my sister. He walked over to my bed and sat beside me giving me one
-Gosh thanks. You have no idea how much I needed it. I thanked him taking a sip of it.
-Agree. Thanks. Cassie also told him and drink some more. She placed it then, at the side table and looked at us.
-Gonna take a shower guys. She announced and after she took some clothes and a towel she headed to the bathroom shutting the door behind her. Leaving me and Keith alone. After our small kiss last night. Great.
