Taking On Hawkins (ST cast x Reader)(Dustin x Reader)

A/N & Character/Story Background

Hi guys, this is my first story but I thought I'd give it a shot! That being said, please bear with me and feel free to leave feedback. Let me know if you enjoy the way I'm doing things or if you have any advice that may be helpful. :) I hope you enjoy!

Below is some basic background on your character, I know some may not fit you exactly but it's a way for me to be a bit more personally connected to my story and will allow me to hopefully allow it to be a bit more developed!

You're a bit introverted and cautious until you feel comfortable around others. Then you become sarcastic, laid-back, and goofy.

You love anything dealing with using your creativity so you play guitar, violin and LOVE sketching.

You were diagnosed with moderately severe scoliosis (a curvature of the spine) and are going to undergo the back surgery to treat it. (This trait is personal to me but I wanted to use it in the story since I found my life more interesting because of it and it's big to my plot! :) I understand the treatment they used at this time was different but I'm going to stick with what I know and have experienced.)

Note: I know this timing doesn't follow the series exactly but it takes place after Will's been found. Y/n and her family move to Hawkins in the middle of their summer break with 5 weeks left till school starts back up. (This means Max and any new characters from season two are introduced in the middle of the story and the snowball hasn't occurred yet.)
