A lot!! Just meet me at the bench plz!

To: Charles
From: Ally

Fine!

Ally knew she couldn't say no to Charles. She knew things would work out and that everything would be okay. Things would go on as it normally does and Charles would soon forget everything she had said at the ice cream shop.

Ally grabbed her bag and ran out the door. She rode her bike to the woods and placed her bike onto the rack. Then she began to walk to the bench. It was already 3:30, Charles had texted her about 10 minutes ago.

When Ally got to the bench she didn't take out her pencil and sketch book and begin to get lost in her sketching. Instead she sat and waited. Sometimes she got butterflies and sometimes she got anxious and thought about leaving before Charles got there.

When Charles got there, Ally was already sitting on the bench. Except instead of sketching she was twiddling her fingers and looking around. When Ally noticed that Charles had gotten there. She looked surprised and nervous.

Ally didn't smile, she didn't grin, she stared blankly at him, "What do you want?" She didn't show any emotion. Not even her voice had another emotion. It was just a monotone voice.

"Well, it's Ok if you like me... it's not a big deal. I'm not gonna hate you, or treat you any differently, there's no reason to avoid me because of it. Don't shut me out." Charles surprised himself by talking smoothly and calmly. His voice wasn't rushed or stammering. His face didn't feel hot and red. Instead he contained his own feelings, "Please come to the concert with me."

Ally put on a fake smile and accepted the invitation reluctantly, "oh alright." She rolled her eyes.

Charles nodded and smiled a little. He knew this was the start to something more. He knew one day he would tell Ally just how much he cared for her, "Great it's in three days!"

"Okay." Ally sighed but secretly she was excited to be spending time with Charles and to be going to an awesome concert, "So how about we meet at the bench at 6?"

"Sounds great! The concert starts at 7 and ends around 10." Charles explained.

Ally was already feeling better. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all. I mean, he still wanted to hang out, he still wanted to be friends, how bad could it be?

Ally and Charles hung out the rest of the day, joked around, and had fun. They were the perfect couple, and they didn't even notice. They worked together so well and they acted exactly like a couple, but they still didn't notice, They knew that their friendship would become more, what they didn't know was that it wouldn't last.
