It was 11pm and the party had come to an end. Charles and Ally were now driving to Ally's house, about a half hour drive. There was only 10 more minutes until they would reach her house. The night would have been perfect, flawless, beautiful, no one would have gotten hurt, no one would be crying, if it wasn't for the ice on the road.

Charles and Ally had been making jokes and talking about the party the whole ride home. All of a sudden Charles lost control of the car and it began slipping on black ice that had frozen. Then, at that moment, something terrible happened.

Crash!

"Charles!!! Watch out!!!!" But it was too late. Out of no where a large truck started coming and that's when it hit the out of control car. That's when Ally saw her life flash before her eyes. Colors and shapes. That's when she screamed and then...darkness.

Charles had tried to steer the car back onto the right side of the road, but it was too late, his car was wrecked, "Ally! Are you-" Charles looked over to see Ally, blood dripping down her forehead, eyes closed.

Charles was in shock, he didn't know what to do. He nudged Ally, "Ally! Get up! Ally come on! Your okay!" He put his ear up to her mouth to listen for breathing, then he put his fingers on her wrist to check her pulse. She was still breathing and she still had a pulse. He took out his phone and called 911.

"Please! I need help! I just got in a car crash... and... and my girlfriend... she isn't responding, she..." Charles stammered over his words and he was interrupted by the woman on the phone.

Her voice was calm and collected, "Does she have a pulse?"

"Yes."

The woman continued, "Is she breathing?"

"Yes."

"Alright tell me where you are."

Charles told the lady, thanked her, and then hung up. Not much later a whole bunch of police and firefighter were there to help and they got out.

Lights flashed, blinding Charles. He couldn't help but close his eyes.

"She's unresponsive." A rough voice said.

"Get her to the ER. We have to get her into surgery." Another man sighed, "It might be too late already."

Charles opened his eyes trying to see who was talking and where his girlfriend was but the lights only got brighter.

Suddenly, he found himself, laying on the ground, a major headache forming.

Annoyed, he sat up rubbing his head and in front of him was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. His annoyance slowly fading.

"Have we met before" Ally stood up brushing off her outfit.

Charles shook his head, "I don't think so." But something told him that he had. Something told him that they shared a very special moment together. It was impossible though.

He looked over and saw a bag, it looked so familiar, he grabbed it, "I think this belongs to you."

She grabbed it from his hands and smiled, "Thanks."

Then they grabbed their bikes and went their separate ways.

They both couldn't help but look back at each other once. Trying to remember where they knew each other from.

Then it hit him.

Ally! My girlfriend!

But he didn't turn back, he knew what would happen if he did.
