"Miss I was at Student Support! Why am I getting a referral?"

"Well thank you for telling me Miss Heart. But watch your tone, this slip is for Jack not you. Please take your seat in silence next time!"

I could feel the whole class staring at me. I blushed furiously then sat down. I sit next in a corner so I only sit next to one person which can be nice! I scanned the class briefly and instantly saw Kyle who was smiling at me. I smiled back then got on with the worksheet.
(Fast forward to lunch break...)

"Well?!" Aimee pushed, standing quite impatiently.

"Well what? If you are referring to your boy situation, no I haven't spoke to him yet." I snapped.

Leila and Evie (she's new to our group but is extremely sweet.) glanced at each other confused whilst Mia and Grace were backing off slightly.

"Alright miss snappy. What's up your sleeve?!" Rhys mocked.

I blushed then ran off to the toilets. However, being the extremely clumsy person that I am, I bumped into Kyle and went falling to the ground. Whacking my jaw on his arm...

"Oh Katie...I'm so sorry. Are you ok?!"

Kyle tried to pick me up but Rhys had come racing over and shoved him out of the way. I grabbed onto someone's arm then put my hand to my lip as it was stinging like crazy...great, it's split. I ignored everyone around me then limped off to medical who sent me home because apparently I'm going to need stitches. *eye roll*

"Katie what happened?"

I explained part of what happened but not why I was running because it's too embarrassing. Em was in the car and slightly worried. I had a tea towel with ice in it on my lip to try to stop the bleeding and reduce the swelling. We were sat in A&E for about 2 hours. Em fell asleep on Mums lap.

"Katie you need to be more careful. Now, can I have the truth please."

I snapped out of the slight daydream I was in and turned to face Mum giving her a confused look.

"Katie Elena Heart. I can read you like a magazine, I know there is something you haven't told me. Now is the time too..."

Why is it parents always say that?!
