Ino smirked and poked Sakura's forehead.
"Sorry billboard brow, but I gotta go back to the shop. Have fun getting rid of that thing." She turned on her heels, "come on Shikamaru, Chouji!" The two boys turned to their teammate and gave Sakura an awkward smile before following Ino. Hinata, Shino and a laughing Kiba had slowly made their exit offering their sincerest apology as they went, Hinata claiming she wasn't very good at sealing tags. Yaya placed a hand on her hip and tilted her head to the side,
"I knew Melody was good, guess she was holding back on her talents. Sorry Haruno, you're on your own." She turned on her heels and headed back to the interrogation hut, Clay shrugged his shoulders.
"Just because we're the same age as you Sakura doesn't mean were on the same level, us three are in a whole other league. Come on Kaiya." Clay trailed after Yaya, as he was supposed to be escorting her, Kaiya gave Sakura a sympathetic smile.
"Sorry Sakura but you were being rude... maybe you should try and get to know her." Kaiya walked past Naruto before heading off with Clay and Yaya. Sakura turned to Naruto her eyes pleading with him, he looked down at the floor before clenching his fists and stepping over to Sakura. He was about to try and pull the tag off but stopped as a dark shadow appeared over him, he looked over his shoulder along with Sakura.
"Kakashi Sensei!?" Naruto exclaimed, Kakashi glanced between the two before noticing the tag on Sakura's mouth. Naruto lowered his hand as Kakashi examined it, his eyes narrowed,
"when did she learn how to use sealing tags?" He wondered, he turned to Naruto "it's alright Naruto you head on home now, I'll take it from here." Naruto glanced between Sakura and Kakashi before nodding and leaving as quickly as he could. Kakashi turned back to Sakura eyeing the tag, "so Melody has been training whilst I've been with team seven... she clearly has a talent for this..." Kakashi placed one hand into his pocket "I take it you didn't do this to yourself?" Kakashi mused, Sakura shook her head as Kakashi raised his finger to his mouth before his chakra surged through him, he opened his eye and tugged the end of the tag before ripping it off Sakura's lip. Sakura exhaled loudly and rubbed her lips.
"Melody did it to me! She's selfish! And rude!" Sakura began yelling, Kakashi's chest tightened as Sakura's venomous words cut deep.
"Sakura. Enough." Kakashi's stern voice stopped Sakura in her tracks, "you don't know Melody, all you do is try and pick fights with her. She did this to you for a reason, whatever you were saying about her hurt. Melody trains, and deserved to become Chunin. Melody doesn't have a mum or a dad, she barely has many friends but she still tries. She tries to be the best she can be and protects her friends. All she has is me Sakura, I took her in. I trained her, do you really believe she did that to be horrible to you? Or to silence you from hurting her further?" Kakashi turned around as Sakura lowered her head. "Think about who's really being the horrible person before you throw words around Sakura." And with that final thought Kakashi disappeared, leaving Sakura alone in an empty street.

Melody twisted and turned, clenching and unclenching her eyes. She groaned quietly as she rolled back over again and again until a hand pressed against her back.
"Mel, you have got to stop." Sasuke's low voice, caused her to jump. She sat up and turned herself around to look at Sasuke, he sat up and turned on the lamp. "What's wrong?"
"I don't know... just I keep." She pressed her hand against her head, "I- I don't- I keep seeing things..." Melody whispered, Sasuke frowned but placed his hand on her leg squeezing gently. "I know it sounds stupid... but when we were on that mission, I knew exactly when you were in trouble and I felt... Naruto's anger at Haku... I heard it. I heard..." Melody trailed off, Sasuke raised his other hand and tilted her chin towards him.
"You heard Naruto?" He asked, Melody shrugged her shoulders before dropping her head into her hands.
"I don't know... I just- I'm crazy..."
"I don't think so." Sasuke muttered, Melody sighed before she shuffled until she was laying on Sasuke's lap. He sighed and got comfortable, resting a pillow behind his head before stroking her hair softly.
"Sasuke... I'm scared." Sasuke's eyes widened as his teeth gritted against one another, he didn't respond he just waited for Melody to fall asleep. He didn't think she was crazy, he knew how strong she was, so why was she feeling like this?
"Is it to do with her headaches?" He thought, he closed his eyes thinking about all the possibilities of what could be wrong with his friend until he drifted off to sleep.
