The two had decided on their home for however long was necessary. An abandoned chapel in Fairfield, Iowa. It would be their home for as long as they could keep it. Any type of supernatural threat, and they're gone. So they rooted themselves in the church.
Currently Annabelle was at the local coffee shop just doing research, attempting to catch up to the supernatural world. There really wasn't much she could do without being noticed by everything and everyone. The barista had been serving her for the past week, and most likely Kevin was back at the chapel painting demon wards and devils' trap's.
"It's almost closing time, we're going to nee you to leave." Annabelle looked up from the computer to see the barista slightly hovering about a foot away.
"No problem, I'll be out of your way. Just give me a second," Annabelle said. The barista smiled, taking the empty cup of coffee and walking away. Annabelle quickly cleared all of her search history, then closed out of her browser. She grabbed her bag, pulling her hood over her head and walking out of the coffee shop. She quickly swooped into the alley which led to the woods.
Annabelle kept glancing behind her, then quickly made her way to the the chapel. Upon reaching it, she used their secret knock, the door opening a second later. Kevin smiled when he saw that it was Annabelle, letting her walk inside.
"What did you find?" Kevin asked as the two began walking through the church.
"Not much. Can't really dig in without being noticed. And that wouldn't really benefit either of us," Annabelle answered sitting in one of the pews. Kevin sat next to her, making Annabelle smile.
"Do you miss it?" Kevin asked. Annabelle looked over confused.
"Miss what?" she asked.
"Your life before hunting. You had to have had one," Kevin said making Annabelle giggle.
"I did, I had a life," she said sitting up. "It was fine. Then the vampire ate my parents. I had no relatives so Sam and Dean took me in. I learned to hunt and that's basically what I've been doing since."
"Yeah, but do you miss your life before hunting?" Kevin asked. Annabelle furrowed her eyebrows, wondering if she really did.
"I mean, yeah. Before hunting my parents were alive, I had a good life. Lots of friends, but that all ended a long time ago. I deal with my pain and buried it far beneath everything in me," Annabelle explained. She leaned back, her legs extending in a lazy manner. "Yeah, I miss the life where I could sleep on a comfy mattress."
"I could really use one of those right about now," Kevin joked making Annabelle smile. They looked at each other, still smiling at each other. Kevin began to lean in, but Annabelle pulled back slightly.
"I," she started, Kevin leaning away a bit.
"I'm-"
"It's, it's okay," Annabelle said. She felt kinda bad. Of course she shared the same feelings, she just couldn't show them. She knew hunters couldn't get close to anyone because if they did, it would only end up horribly. (Or maybe that was just the Winchesters.) "I'm gonna head to the diner to get dinner."
"Yeah, you should probably do that," Kevin said beginning to stand up. Annabelle stood as well, pulling her hands out of her pockets. She moved past Kevin, walking to the door. Once it was clear that she was far enough away, a tear slipped from her eyes.
Of course Annabelle had grown feelings for Kevin at this point. They had developed in the first two months of their time together. She knew then, though, that it couldn't happen. Mainly because they were on the run from Crowley. Also because the wall she put up in her heart was still there. The wall was still standing which meant that void for love was still wide open. The void that no one had tried to fill yet.

Annabelle fiddled with her fingers as she waited for her food to be ready. She had gotten enough food for her and Kevin, and barely thought about what she would do when she got back. She could already tell that it was going to be quiet for a little while, but by the next day they would most likely try and forget that it even happened.
"Here's your food. Have a good day," the man behind the counter said. Annabelle grabbed the bag of food and smiled. She walked out of the diner back to the chapel. She stopped walking at some point to hear a crunch of leaves behind her. Annabelle pulled her knife out of her jacket, turning towards the noise. She set down the bag of food, walking towards the noise a bit more. She held the knife up immediately only to find out it was a fawn.
"I hate nature," Annabelle muttered putting the knife back in her jacket. She turned, grabbing the bag of food, and walking to the chapel once again.

The floor creaked loudly as the hunter slowly walked to her destination. She stopped walking, seeing if anything would come out. When nothing happened, she began walking again. She felt the cold metal of the angel blade in her sweaty hand. She was so close to closing in, and she couldn't turn away now.
Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed both her arms, pulling her back and pinning her to the ground. Annabelle began struggling under the demon's grip. She went to stab him, only to have another hand grab her arm. She felt her grip on the knife loosen, making panic flood her system.
"You always were stronger than I thought," Crowley said turning and setting the knife on the table. Annabelle kept struggling, then stopped. It all felt so real but the last thing she remembered was Kevin telling her to sleep. She looked over at Crowley confused.
"This isn't real, is it?" she asked. Crowley looked over with his hands in his pockets, then nodded.
"Correct, I'm in your head," he stated. Annabelle quickly looked away again, taking it in.
"Then in that case." She kicked the demon off of her, standing and facing Crowley. "Guess I should have a little fun."
"I didn't leave a touch on your soul for this to happen," Crowley stated. Annabelle paused, taking in what he just said.
"A touch on my soul?" she asked standing up straight.
"Yes, darling. I left a little bit of myself in there. So congratulations, you're part Crowley," he stated. Annabelle had many things running through her mind right now, and seeing as she was thinking in her dream she could probably wake up from how lucid it was.
"You're lying," she said looking at him again.
"Maybe. Maybe not. Guess you'll just have to find out yourself," Crowley smirked. Annabelle walked to him, then shoved him back as hard as she could. He ended up flying at the wall, cracking it a bit. She grabbed the knife that was still on the table, turning to the door.
"Guess I'll find out for myself," she muttered. She then opened the door, waking herself up.
