Angelica P.O.V :
It's a month since I started to work with Mr Grim , the same routine everyday , waking up early , preparing breakfast , go to work , copy the papers , a very simple life but actually I was happy with it .
Today is Sunday , so no work , we were having breakfast in his small garden , when the silence was broken by him .
"Angelica"
"Yes father"
"When you went shopping , did you bought any dress for a ball with you ?"
"Oh yes father , I saw a very beautiful dress , I just couldn't stop myself from buying it"
"Very good then , get ready at 7 pm sharp , because we're going to attend a ball"
"A ball ?"
"Yes , as you see today is 1st of June , and every month there's a ball that's made by Mr William James in his house" he declared .
"Am I invited ?"
"Everyone is"
"Okay then I will be ready at 7"
Adam P.O.V :
Why does it has to be a ball ? They are so boring , I should have just said no , but I don't think that Mark will be happy with that , he was the one who told me to come , and these days he is always pissed of , I don't know why , when I first meet him he was so cheerful but now anything piss him off , anyway thank God that I bought something for the party the day I went shopping , right now I don't have a lot of time , I don't have any time , I go to work from 9 and all the tasks I do are outdoors , when I asked Robert he told that they found someone who will work indoor copy and write their letters and papers , if they didn't find him I think that I was the one who would do all of that , whoever he was I thank him from all my heart .
I had a nap and when I woke up it was 5:30 , I have to start getting ready as the cottage is very far from the country , I first prepared something to eat , had a shower , and finally started to get ready it was 6 when I finished and the ball starts at seven , I will be there on time .
When I arrived I got into the house , looking for any familiar face , when my eyes landed on Alonso , I went towards him , he was with some other woman and a young lady and another young man round my age , I think they are his wife and daughter but I didn't know that he had a son .
I coughed to announce my presence and he looked at me "Good evening sir"
"Good evening Adam , just in time , aren't you never late ?" He asked jokingly .
"Time is the most precious thing , we can't just waste it"
"Yes son you are right , let me introduce you to my little family , that's Cordelia my daughter" he said pointing towards the young lady "and that's my wife Elora" pointing at the old woman "and that's my nephew Sam" pointing at the young man .
"Nice to meet you all"
"Yea nice to meet you too" said his daughter in a flirty look in her eyes , okay I don't like that , she's beautiful though , but I still don't like that .
"So Adam , would you like to have a walk outside ?" asked Sam breaking that uncomfortable silence .
"Yes please"
Angelica P.O.V :
I was ready at 7 , I got out of my room and found John ready and sitting at the couch , how do he always manage to be ready before me "I am ready father" I said as approaching him .
