Ran Away... (Complete)

Chapter seven : The letter

Angelica P.O.V :

A WEEK , A HOLE WEEK SINCE THAT DANCE , and I simply couldn't get him out of my mind , who couldn't with this angelic face , tall well built body , I tried as hard as I could to hide my thoughts from father , so I just followed the daily routine as usual .

Today is Sunday , so no work ,I woke up prepared breakfast , I was astonished that father didn't woke up yet , he always gets up early , I went upstairs to check up on him , I knocked at the door several time but he didn't answer so I just entered his room and he wasn't there , I went to the bathroom but nothing , I rushed downstairs and sighed in relief when I found him closing the front door and getting inside the house with a letter in his hands .

"Father you scared me , where were you ?"

"Sorry Angelica , I just went for a walk then I found that I got a letter" he said with a big smile on his face .

"Really from who ?" I asked .

"My children.....they finally are coming back home... They finally will have some days off"

"I am so happy to hear that , but what do they do ?"

"They work for the royal family" he said "the personal guards of them"

I was shocked by his answer oh no this can't be happening I thought to myself "it looks like a dangerous job"

"It's , especially after the princess got kidnapped , I am sure that they didn't sleep since that incident"

"Father , you never told me their names"

"Hansel and Gretel" with that answer my eyes widen , thank God that he wasn't looking at me , I collected my self again and started to talk .

"When are they going to come ?"

"They should be on their way"

"That's too soon , father I need to make then a very good dinner , they must be tired from all that work in the past days"

"Yea sure everything must be ready when they come"

"So then that's it ,I am going to go and buy what we need to make the perfect dinner for them" I said trying to sound enthusiastic .

"Yes sure ,  make everything ready and perfect , Angelica I count on you"

"Okay , now I am gonna get going" I said as going inside my room and bringing my long black cloak "I won't be late" I said as going outside the house and closing the door behind me .

I started to walk in the woods , but not to the country's direction but the opposite one , I was a little away from the house , when I heard a sound from behind me , I turned around and saw them .

When I saw them from a distance I felt adrenaline rush through my hole body ,I turned around and began to run .I ran and ran and ran as my life is about to end cause it was .

"Hey there " I heard a male voice shouting from a distance,but I didn't have time to turn away and see who it was , so I just kept running and it was a bad idea cause he was an archer he just shot and arrow on me , fortunately it didn't got me ,unfortunately it got my long black cloak and it make it stick in a big tree beside me which cause me to fall .

I tried to free me cloak but I couldn't , he was getting closer so I just took it off me and continued to Ran away.....

I was running so fast that I couldn't slow down .

"Oh God please help me , what did I do to deserve all of that , thinking again I did a lot" I murmured to myself as I was running

"Stop , you're going to fall" the same man shouted again , but if that's Hansel where is Gretel , I didn't know what he meant by I was going to fall , for a second at least .

I saw myself running towards the edge of the cliff , and before I knew I started to fell down , 'that's it I am going to die' I thought to my self as I finally fell on the rough ground under me , I could stand up or move a bone but I feel someone approaching me , then everything turned black .
