Angelica P.O.V :
We finally arrived at the castle , it seemed like forever , when the guards saw me they were astonished , I think they thought that I died , they immediately opened the door and let us in , Adam was still chained and looking at the ground , Hansel was holding him from his arm to not escape , and Gretel was guiding the horse , we finally arrived at the castle's door , I didn't miss the place .
Gretel helped me to get off the horse and we started to get in of course the doors were opened immediately as soon as they saw me , and all of them were giving Adam a disgust look , this all my fault , I am just a stupid brainless person , I shouldn't have ran away from the beginning , now innocent person will be executed because of my stupidity .
When we entered my cousin Pete was waiting for us on the entrance with his personal guards on his two sides , and of course his sword , he never goes to anyplace without it , one of the guards must have called him when we entered the castle .
"Your highness , we found the princess" started Gretel .
"And the one who kidnapped her" said Hansel as pushing Adam towards Pete hardly with made him fell under Pete's feet , he looked at him in a disgust way but it wasn't just disgust , he was happy that he finally got anyone from the Royals of the other kingdom , Adam's father , king Jacoub , killed Pete's father , my uncle , in one of the battles , since then Pete promised to revenge for his father murderer .
He now turns his gaze on me "Angelica you okay ?" he asked when he saw the Gretel was helping me to stand up .
"Yes don't worry , I think I just twisted my ankle" I lied , he raised an eyebrow giving me I know you're lying look , Pete and I were too close to each other that we could understand each other by eyes .
"She feel off a cliff your Highness" explained Gretel .
"Great" I murmured to myself , not letting anyone else hearing me except for Gretel of course she was too close to me .
"And I assume that he was the one who pushed her" said Hansel pointing at Adam , oh please no he won't bear any of Pete's kicks or punches , as I said before when Pete's father died he promised to revenge , he trained day and night for that , he was the one who taught me how to fight , carry a sword , self defense , horse riding , and how to carry a bow and an arrow .
His eyes widen with Hansel words , then he looked at the laying on the ground Adam and gave him a strong kick in the stomach with make Adam groan .
"How dare you ?" he said as grabbing Adam from his collar and hit him to the wall , he put a hand around Adam's neck and started choking him , Adam's feet weren't on the ground anymore , his face was coloring , he put his hands on Pete's strong grip trying to move it but it was useless .
"Pete" a strong voice shouted which made Pete let go of Adam , he fell on the ground coughing trying to breathe , we all looked at the source of the sound except for choked Adam .
"Oh my God , I am dead" I whispered to my self .
