Angelica P.O.V :
After the loud knock at the door , it became quiet for a second , I was about to talk when we heard aloud bang , which make me jump away from the bed , I couldn't stand up from a second so I just fell on the ground , I extend my hands in front of me to decrease the pain of the fall , right know I was in the ground can't stand up or move , I felt Adam kneeling down beside me .
"If you were fond of falling you should really wait until we are safe , then believe me I will be the one who will push you" he said , it was supposed to be a joke , but unfortunately there was someone standing in front of us , I looked up and saw it was Hansel .
"I knew someone from the other kingdom was responsible for the princess kidnap , but I never thought it would be their prince" he said angrily then I found Gretel standing behind him .
"Wait princess" Adam yelled in a shock .
"Prince.... Other kingdom" I yelled back in shock .
"You lied" he yelled at me , I was about to open my mouth and respond when I found Hansel kicked him with his leg directly in the face which causes Adam to fly in the other part of the room , now his lips were bleeding .
Hansel then grabbed him up by his collar "when you speak with the princess , speak with respect" he shouted at him and gave a kick with his knee directly in the stomach , with causes Adam to shriek .
"Hansel stop doing this please" I begged him as trying to stand up but failed .
"Your highness , what happened to your leg ?" asked Gretel as helping me to stand up .
"I am sure that he has something to do with that" he said giving Adam a death stare .
"I didn't do anything to her , she was running and I tried to stop her , but she didn't listen to me and continued to run then fell from the cliff" he explained .
"And do you expect me to believe that queer story" asked Hansel giving him a punch in the face .
Okay I can't see him got beaten and he did nothing "HANSEL GRIM , AS YOUR PRINCESS I ORDER YOU NOW TO STOP BEATING HIM AND LET HIM GO AT ONCE" with that Hansel threw him on the ground , tried to go and check up on him but Gretel was holding me , then I found Hansel approaching him and tying his hands behind his back .
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST TOLD , I TOLD YOU TO LET HIM GO"
"I am sorry your highness , but I can't , kidnapping a royal has only one retribution" my eyes widen at his words they can't kill him , he did nothing .
"No you can't do that he didn't kidnap me , I am the one who escaped"
"Your highness , he is an enemy , he doesn't deserve you lying to save him" stated Gretel .
"Hansel , Gretel please let him go he did nothing , and everything you want will be done , please just let him go" I begged but this time with tears in my eyes .
"I am sorry your highness , but we swear to protect the royal family with our life and be loyal to them with the last drop of blood running in our veins" stated Gretel .
"Well I am a royal , and I order you to let him go now" I said getting away from Gretel and fell again .
"What's wrong with your leg ?" asked Hansel .
"I don't know , I think that I broke me left knee"
"This is all because of you" Hansel yelled at Adam giving him another kick in the stomach .
"Hansel how are we going to get her back to the castle" said Gretel as she approached me helping me to stand up .
"My horse is in the back of the cottage , she can ride it back to the castle" said Adam with an exhausted , sad tone .
"Fine let's go , Gretel watch him I am going to carry the princess down stairs" he said as pushing Adam towards Gretel .
"Wait , I want to take my bow and arrow with me" a said Adam , which causes Hansel to chuckle mockingly .
I could fell that that bow and arrow means a lot to him "Hansel" I called for him "bring the bow and arrows , I want them with me"
"As you wish your highness" he said as grabbing the bow and the arrows .
Hansel carried me up and we descended down the stairs , he put me on the stairs in front of the cottage and went to bring the horse , he came back and put me on the horse's back and we started to move .
The ride back to the castle was completely silent , uncomfortable silent , I allowed myself to glance every while at Adam , each time I saw him looking at the ground with miserable expression on his face , 'this is all my fault' I thought to myself .
Adam P.O.V :
'The princess' I kept repeating this hundred of times in my head , not believing what's happening , I ran a away from my home , my family , my friends , my people , because I didn't want to kill innocent people who did nothing , now I am one of the innocent people who did nothing but accused of kidnapping the princess and about to be executed , I should have just left her there for the wild animals to eat her .
