Chapter eleven :Revenge

Angelica P.O.V :

I heard my father's voice and felt chills down my spine , I turned my face from choking Adam to my father , I never seen him that frustrated before , but that frustrated look wasn't on me but on Adam , then his face soften when his eyes laid on me , I was amazed ,I expected him to shout on me , but instead his eyes were so soft , I think I was wrong when I thought he was ruthless , cold blooded murderer .

"Angelica , I can't believe that's really you" he said while running to me and hugging me .

"Father ....I.. I.." I wanted to talk or say anything but I didn't know what to say , Do I say 'father I am sorry that I ran away and left you and mother worried sick about me because I thought you were ruthless murderer and forcing me to be like you'

"Sshhh sweetheart don't say anything , I know everything that happened"

"Yo...you do ?"

"Yes of course" he said "we found your necklace broken and on the floor in your room , we knew you were kidnapped , we sent guards looking for you in the whole country , but no one found you" he explained then turned his gaze from me to Adam who stopped coughing and now able to breathe and he talked with a cold tone "we knew that the other kingdom has to something about it , but I never thought that they would send their Prince , now I just want to ask you a question"

"Yes Father ?"

"Did he kidnapped you ?" he asked me in a deep cold tone looking directly in my eyes .

I looked at Adam who now had bruises and blood all over his face and on his lips and a black eye laying on the ground he was looking at me deeply , I felt sorry for him , I must help him , but how...?

I turned my gaze again to my father "yes father , he did , he kidnapped me from my room , I was asleep when I heard someone entering my room I opened my eyes and saw him with a sword in his hand , and before I knew it the sword was on my neck , I tried to fight him back but I couldn't , he drugged me" I said looking at the ground .

"I got my answer , Prince Adam of Bahusia , as you kidnapped my daughter and the next queen of Oelandia , you will be executed tomorrow morning"

"No father wait" I objected "as you see I am hurt , and I want to be there when you execute him"

"Angelica you could be there" said Pete .

"No I want to be there when I am fully recovered , not using a stick to help me or someone helping me to stand up , I want to be in a full power seeing him executed"

My father had a big grin on his face "Well then he will be executed as soon as Princess Angelica is fully recovered , now guards take him to the castle prison" with that my father ends the discussion , the guards came a took Adam to the prison , please forgive me Adam .

After Adam what out of sight my father then looked at Hansel and Gretel "Hansel , Gretel I can't express my happiness with the return of my daughter , and that's because of you two , whatever you ask for will be obeyed , wish whatever you want"

"Your highness , we didn't do anything but our job , when we first came here and work as your personal guards , we swear and promised to be loyal for the Royal family and protect them with our life" said Hansel .

"Your Highness , we don't lust for anything but your safety" said Gretel .

"Well then , let me think of the suitable reward for you two"
