I'm no pretty girl in town.
I'm no damsel in distress,
I'm no adventurer in a quest,
I'm no protagonist in a story,
I'm no heroine in a movie.
I'm just a little girl,
Whose mind is filled with questions,
I'm just a little girl,
Whose face is filled with pretensions.
I'm just a little girl.
Whose lips are filled with lies.
I'm just a little girl,
Whose nights are filled with cries.
I'm just a little girl,
Whose heart is filled with fears.
I'm just a little girl,
Whose eyes are filled with tears.
No, I don't need a prince,
Or a knight in shining armor.
No, I don't need to be saved,
By a man with a cape.
No, I don't need a boy,
Who'll just treat me like a toy.
No, I don't need a man,
And I'm not looking for one.
Just give me a knife,
Hand me a gun,
I don't need anyone,
Now, just leave and be gone.
