It was dead at night. Klaus made us drive all the way to Chicago, he didn't tell us why. I sat in the front with him, but made him stop so I could go in the back with Stefan. For a hybrid, he sure talks to much. At least to me anyway. I still don't understand why he is and not to Stefan. Stefan even gave me a confused look when Klaus asked me what have I've been up to this past century. In my response to that I said kiss my ass.
"Welcome back to Chicago, guys," Klaus said as we pulled up behind an alleyway.
Klaus got out of the car and we followed him towards the abandoned warehouse. "What are we doing here?" Stefan asked.
"I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old Ripper days."
"Blacked out most of them."
"Because being a emotionless blood drunkie does that to someone," I replied. I never liked Ripper Stefan. Always been an asshole. The only thing I didn't mind was those parties he would take me.
"Well, that is a crying shame," Klaus said. "The details are what makes it legend." Then Klaus got in by telling us how the Ripper of Monterrey, aka Stefan, got lonely and came to Chicago. And since everything for forbidden then, it only made Stefan have more fun. "Chicago was magical."
I groaned. "Will you ever stop talking?"
Klaus glared. "Watch your tone. I might have saved your brother's life, but that doesn't mean I will take yours."
Stefan blocked Klaus from me. "Then our deal is broken. You wanted the Salvatore twins, our trip wouldn't be as much fun with one."
"It would be if he wasn't with us," I muttered.
Stefan gave me a look to shut up before he looked at Klaus. "Until our deal is done, my sister is off limits. Which I don't understand why we're still here? We had our fun, your hybrids failed. I mean, don't you want to move on?"
"We're going to see my favorite witch," Klaus started as he walked back towards the car. "If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her."
Stefan and I tried to not show our worried looks towards each other. We know why Klaus' hybrids aren't working, but if we do see the witch we'll be dead by the end of the week.

I can't believe this place is still here. I haven't been to Gloria's bar in...60 years. It hasn't changed till this day.
"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" Klaus asked.
I nodded with a happy sigh. "Best place to drink till my hearts contempt."
Klaus gave me a surprised look. "You've been here, love?"
I scoffed. "Please, you'd be a complete idiot if you don't stop by -" The door opens and this woman with white hair comes in. A huge smile came to my face, I can't believe she's still here. "Gloria!"
I quickly vamp sped over to her. She started chuckling as I wrapped my arms around her. How is she still here?
"So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender -"
Gloria held her hand up to stop Klaus. "Stop. You may be invincible, but that doesn't make you funny."
I gave Klaus an amused look. "See, she gets it."
"It's great to see you again, Bela." She looked towards Stefan. "I see the twins are back at it again."
Stefan gave her a confused look. "You're Gloria. Shouldn't you be..."
"Old and dead?" She guessed. Stefan nodded. "Now if I die, who's going to run this place, huh?"
"Gloria's a powerful witch," Klaus explained. No shit, Sherlock.
