I hate the fact that Jeremy's leaving. Yeah, I don't want him near Klaus. I want him as far away from that bastard as possible. I want him safe, but I also want it to be his decision. Elena did have a point to compel him. We both knew that he would still stay and help, even if it means facing death everyday. And today is the day he leaves, which also happens to be Caroline's birthday.

"Happy birthday, Care," I chimed through the phone.

She sighed. "Thanks, Bela."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why doesn't it sound like you're not into it this year? From what Elena and Bonnie told me, you always make your birthday extra special." She didn't say anything. "Does this have anything to do with your douche of a boyfriend almost killing Jeremy? Because, trust me, you're not the only one."

"No. I mean, yes, I'm mad at him. It's that stupid sire bond that's making him do this."

"Yeah, but do you think Tyler would have actually done this?"

She sighed again. "No."

"Right. But I know you want to rip his head off right now, so I suggest you ignore his hybrid ass and enjoy your birthday. Put everything related to Klaus on the side. This day is going to be all about you."

"You're right," she finally admitted. "I'll see you school, then."

"Ahhh..." I trailed off looking at the certain predicament I'm in right now.

"You're not coming to school today?"

"Sorry, if I would I could. But I'm going to be out of town for the day," I lied.

"Ok. I guess I'll see you later then."

Then we hung up. I sighed sadly. I can't believe I'm missing Caroline's birthday for this. I felt the person squirm. I placed my phone back in my pocket before glaring at the hybrid pinned to the wall. Another hybrid in the span of 24 hours. I'm getting really pissed of at Klaus for summoning his minions to follow me. The guy tried to move, but I pursed my lips while tightening my hold on his neck.

"Now, where were we?" I asked. I smirked at the guy in front of me. "That's right."

I felt the veins come out around my eyes as my fangs decide to come out. The hybrid started thrashing around. My mouth opened before I latched them to his neck. Ripping his jugular our clean.

"You know that's the second hybrid today," Stefan pointed out as we waited for Damon to get out of the shower.

I rolled my eyes as I placed the shovel down. "No really? I had no fucking idea," I snapped.

Stefan raised his hands in surrender. "I'm just stating the obvious. Klaus really wants you protected."

I grabbed the shovel again and continued to put the dirt back on the hybrid's grave. My hearing expanding to make sure there weren't any hybrids out lurking. There weren't any, which I was glad about. How long do you think Klaus will notice another hybrid gone missing before sending another one? Well, I'd give it a few more hours. Klaus should be getting that package in an hour.

"Right. And his stupid hybrids are doing a great job at it," I said sarcastically.

"I see you took a page out of my book," he pointed out. "Did you really have to send Klaus that hybrid's head?"

"Yes. And the more he keeps sending hybrids on me, I'm going to send him more body parts." I stabbed my shovel on the ground again. "Should I send the boob this time or the penis?"

"Boob if it's a girl, the penis if it's a guy."

I took my phone out of my pocket. "How long is he gonna take? We're suppose to meet Bonnie at the witch house in a few minutes."
