I can't believe we're finally getting Jeremy back. I miss the little Gilbert too much, you have no idea. I dropped my bags on the floor so I have to wait for Damon and Elena. Stefan came over and I gave him a small smile.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay here? I could cancel and help you get the stake from evil Ric," I said.

He shook his head. "As much as I would love you to stay and help torture a guy, you've been missing Jeremy since he left. So a reunion between you two might be what you need."

"Are you sure? If we need Ric to pass out I could read him one of your journals?"

He grinned. "Actually, I was thinking about reading one of yours. No blood lust. No serious kills. That's a real snoozer." In retaliation, I slapped Stefan's shoulder. He chuckled while Damon came down and placed his bag next to mine.

"Did you hear from Klaus?" he asked.

"Not yet. I'm sure I will soon, though," Stefan said. "He's expecting me to deliver a stake. The only one who knows where it is hasn't come out yet."

"Well, that's going to be disappointing for him."

"I'll get it out of Alaric. I just need some time."

"I like that confidence, Stefan. I don't share it, but I like it."

"I think you're mixing confidence with cockiness. One has what the other one doesn't," I mocked. "The main question which brother is which?"

Damon smirked at me. "You know, maybe Stefan doesn't need to convince Ric. Maybe if you go to Klaus' house -"

I glared at him. "I'm not sleeping with Klaus."

"Just saying. The option is still out there."

I placed my hands on my hips. "Just because you slept with Rebekah doesn't mean I'm going to sleep with Klaus."

"Why not? He's all buddy-buddy with you for some reason. He won't kill you." He motioned to Stefan and him. "Us? He might."

"Well, don't piss off an Original."

"What and be good Stefan again. Be in control. Get the girl but lose my edge." Our ears perked up when Elena started coming near. "Speaking of..." Damon smirked at Elena. "Have you ever flown first class?"

"Who did you have to compel for that?" Elena asked.

Damon scoffed. "Please. I used miles."

I rolled my eyes as I grabbed Damon's car keys. "Yeah, mine."

He gave me a look while I walked past him. I know why Stefan isn't coming with us. Because he believes that Elena has feelings for Damon. He wants her to figure it all out. But the idea is stupid alone. It doesn't take a trip to figure out if you like someone or not. It's either you do or you don't. That's it.

Don't think I haven't noticed the way Elena's constantly more worried about Damon. The looks she gives him. At least she's not sleeping with him while dating Stefan. Or she's not feeding them blood every night. Or using them for that matter. I want my brothers to be happy. And I respect Elena's decision. So I'll try to be happy with whatever decision she makes. If one brother decides to leave because of it, I'll follow.

My knee kept bouncing up and down the whole plane trip. My chest is pounding with excitement the closer we were to Jeremy. The people he's staying with said that he'll be at the batting cages.

"There he is," Elena said as we got out of the car. A huge smile came to my face when we see Jer swinging his bat, but missed the ball.

"Next time we compel him, remind me to make him better at baseball," Damon commented. I slapped him behind his head. "Ow!"
